By Kirubel Tadesse (2 March 2009) capital – Meles Zenawi’s Communication Affairs Office, Bereket Simon, says it is impossible to hold a public rally on Birtukan’s case, as it is a matter already dealt with by the judiciary.
Opposition party, Unity for Democracy (UDJ) has set a date to stage a public demonstration in Addis Ababa to protest at what it calls clear and widespread violations of the constitution, including the re-arrest of its chairperson, Birtukan Midekssa.
Established by the leadership of the former Coalition for Unity and Democracy Party (CUDP), UDJ obtained its accreditation to operate on a national level back in August 2008.
In an effort to unite former CUDP supporters currently scattered across various groups at home and in the Diaspora, the UDJ was aggressively operating across the nation, and in some European and American cities where Ethiopian opposition supporters live in great numbers.
The party issued a statement accusing the national and regional government of being responsible for widespread illegal activities, ranging from forced office closures to harassments and several arrests. In a press conference held last Thursday, UDJ’s acting chairperson, Engineer Gizachew Shiferaw, commented to Capital that attempts to resolve the violations by discussions with regional and relevant authorities were unfruitful: “Most of us [in leadership] went personally to a number of regional heads’ offices to bring the intimidations and illegal office closures to their attention. As we go to the kebele level, things get worse.”
He recounted testimonies from four regional party members from Amhara, Oromia and Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ State to illustrate the claimed intimidation.
The party’s three page communiqué issued refers to its youth, media and communications sub committee’s scheduled literature evening to demonstrate the extent of the serious setbacks the party is enduring. “After submitting a letter of notification to the relevant authority, we were ordered to postpone because of the ongoing African Union Summit and we accepted. A notification of our new date was sent again, but it has been several days and we have had no response.”
“That is preventing us from exercising our democratic rights,” the UDJ statement reads.
The statement adds that by law the party could hold the meeting, due to the authority’s delay in responding. However, it says the police have recently broken up such events, leading the party to wait for the official go-ahead.
According to the party’s statement, the re-arrest of Birtukan also falls under the trend of violations of the law.
“Prior to the public demonstration, scheduled tentatively in a month’s time, we will organize a symposium where various papers will be presented to make the public aware of the current violations of the law and to see the legal implications of the acts,” UDJ vice-chair Dr. Hailu Araya explained to Capital. “We won’t hold the demonstration to protest the court’s life sentence, rather the step the government took to revoke the pardon and the violation of human rights observed during the arrest,” Hailu added.
UDJ have made Birtukan’s re-arrest a priority, and have set up four committees to have its chairperson released from prison. Birtukan, who received a life sentence from the federal court in 2006, was, along with most of the former CUD leadership, released just before the Ethiopian millennium.
The Government says due to her failure to retract her denial of asking for a pardon, her pardon was revoked and she is now serving a life sentence as of December 29, 2008. However, UDJ says this is illegal.
Head of Government Communication Affairs Office, Minister Bereket Simon, explains that holding or conducting demonstrations is a right protected by law.
“Apart from Birtukan’s case, they can hold a demonstration based on the allegations, or what they feel has to be corrected, that is within their legal right,” Bereket explained to Capital, “if they mix up these with Birtukan’s case, it will be wrong to hold demonstration because it is a judicially settled matter. And I don’t think it is proper to try to subvert judicial decisions from being implemented by terrorizing implementing bodies.”
Just a few days later after Birutkan’s re-arrest, the Justice Ministry issued a statement cautioning all not to try to influence independent judiciary. As to how the government will react if UDJ decides to hold the public demonstration despite this caution, Minister Bereket said it will be impossible to make Birtukan’s case the focus of the rally.

Meles Zenawi has become a fascist. Meles Zenawi is acting unconstitutionally. UDJ has to demonstrate without the permission of the so-called government. By not demonstrating, the UDJ is risking the chance of being forgotten by the ethiopian and international public. The demonstartion should be agains the government of Meles Zenawi. His government has to step down.
The international community has sympathy for the Opposition and the ethiopian public. President Obama, the Black Diaspora, African countries stand with courageous people of Ethiopia.

Well this is expected, these losers will never let the people express its position about Mrs Birtukan imprisonment for a couple of reasons.
First, woyane knows very well the jialing of Birtukan is outragously illegal and the masse is offended by this illegal act. Its very difficult to predict what will happen if you let oppressed and offended people stage demonstration. Given the opportunity no doubt that the next stop of the people will be 4kilo palace!
Second apart from the continous political turmoil in the country, regular life has become increasingly difficult for most ethiopians. Prices are continuously escalating and people cant even afford the most basic goods anymore, thanks to woyane’s mismanagement and policy blunders. Things are working against these losers and every economic measure they take, it backfires.
Third, unconsiously woyane has become a victim of its own tyranny and dictatorship to the point that they don’t even trust each other. They become extremely paranoid by their own illegitimacy, tyranny and dictatorship. So you can’t expect a bunch of coward slaves to deliver freedom and democracy for the people!
Hence, the only way to kick the enslaved woyanes out of our land is through force! Every geniune ethiopian should stand along side armed forces and fight woyane to death. The gallant somali fighters have teared woyane’s mechanised force down with in a matter of two years, If the somali’s did it, there is no way we can’t do it!

if the so called UDj is serious to stage demonstration ,i donot see why begging woyane since it is their constitutional right.Thus have to conduct
the demonstration by defying the woyane’s suppressive rule.That was how genuine and determined mass based partys use to have done in Ethiopia and elsewhere in the world.But Udj certainly will not follow this course of action as the leaders are not committed to such form of struggle which demands conviction and sacrifice.Their declaration for demonstration is mere lip service.

APPROPRIATE REACTION TO TPLF TRIBALISM

Note: In this writing TPLF or “Woyane”, refers to current Ethiopian Government.
When Italian colonial invaders came to Ethiopia, they came with a plan to form great East African Italian colonial empire by dividing Ethiopia into many small ethnically based states. “Divide and rule” was the effective and mainstream colonial policy of the colonial powers. This policy helped many of European colonizers, especially Great Britain to concur the southern world for centuries. Thanks to our forefathers, this plan did not work in Ethiopia.
Our forefathers, irrespective of their ethnic background, paid tremendous sacrifice to keep Ethiopian territorial integrity, its diverse culture and remarkable history. They bestowed great patriotism (Ethiopianism), which most black people of Africa and Latin America are proud of, on our generation. I have great respect for all the sacrifice made by our forefathers.
During the last fourteen years, TPLF has tried to use the old and defeated colonial divide and rule policy to consolidate and maintain its power. In the guise of federalism, TPLF divided the country in to ethnically based regions that are similar to that of Italian failed colonial administrative map of Ethiopia. It initiated people to kill other people. Elites of TPLF have tried their best to cause Rwandan like holocaust in the country. Nevertheless, thanks to the wisdom of the Ethiopian people, it did not happen. Now Ethiopians have become aware of all TPLF’s schemes. They have understood that the main problem of Ethiopia is TPLF’s tribal administrative system. The May 15, 2005 election was a clear message of the Ethiopian people that they do not want TPLF’s racist regime any more. In the after math of the election, the unanimous action of the people, irrespective or their ethnical differences was a clear message that people are determined to remove TPLF peacefully or the other way.
Being shocked by this fact, elites of TPLF have started desperate measures to initiate ethnic violence in the country. They are again trying to use the same divide and rule policy by killing, arresting and torturing innocent people. They kill “Amhara” under the name of “Oromo” or “Wolita” or “Sidama”. They kill “Agnewak” under the name of “Nuware”. They kill “Afar” under the name of “Issa”. There is TPLF hand in all killings. Leaders of TPLF are purposefully doing to cause ethnic conflict and disintegrate Ethiopia if they are forced to give the power. It is selfishness of the elite of TPLF. The Tigray people will suffer the most if the country disintegrates. Do these elites know who will be the first victim and suffer high loses, if Ethiopia disintegrates? Let me mention some facts.
Will the “Amhara” be the first victims?
No. It has a large population, huge fertile arable land, large grazing land, huge population of cattle and abundant water resources. (By the way, according to the United Nation projection, by 2050, when the world population reaches 9 billion, pure water will be one of the scarcest resources in the world over which war among nations might erupt). “Amhara” has peace-loving people who are helpful and respect others. It has a developed tradition of coexisting peacefully with others. Thus with its large human resources and abundant actual and potential natural resources, the Amhara” can exist as a strong viable nation state.
Will the “Oromo” be the first victims?
No. It has a large population, huge and fertile coffee growing land, large deposits of minerals, forest resources and abundant water resources. It has peace loving and helpful people that can coexist with others. With all these human resources and abundant actual and potential natural resources, the “Oromo”, like the “Amhara” can exist as a strong viable nation state.
Will the people in the south and south central highland of the country; like “Gurage”, “Hadiya”, “Kenbata”, “Sidama” and other nationalities in the region be the first victims?
No. They have as rich natural resources as the Oromos do. They have human resources that have practiced developed tradition of trade and an intensive agricultural system. They have also mature tradition of coexisting with other people. Therefore, these people can exist as either a part of federal or centralized state within themselves or with other nationalities.
Will the people in the eastern, northeastern and southern lowlands of the country be the first victims?
No. They have well-established nomadic way of life and developed long distance trading culture. They have had loose connections with the central/federal or local governments. They have a mature and long-standing tradition of tribal administration system. Therefore, they can live as they have lived for centuries.
Will the “Tigrean” be the first victims?
They might be. This might upset some people. However, I have some facts to prove my point. Tigray has a long history of settlement. Accordingly, its arable land has been cultivated for centuries. Agricultural activity and the degree of soil erosion are directly related. Hence, the soil has been eroding for centuries. As a result, more than 80% of the current arable land has either a shallow layer of soil that does not support even the roots of the basic crops, or the bedrock is exposed at the top. These small amounts of soil are highly acidic since they are close to the bedrock and consist of mainly inorganic minerals. Acidic soils are not good for cultivation. Therefore, even if there is enough annual rainfall, the land cannot produce enough crops to support small fraction of its population. Moreover, since dense relief characterizes the terrain, and the bedrocks do not allow rainwater to pass through, under ground water formation process is almost none. Deep soil formation is an evolutionary process. It takes between 300 to 400 years depending on the type of bedrock and the availability of water. Therefore, the problem is very far from being solved in the near future. That is why TPLF grabbed fertile land from Wolo and Gondar.
Tigray has also geo-political problem. They have several hundreds of kilometers border with Eritrea. There is ferocious competition between “Shabia” and “TPLF” for acquiring economic and military power superiority in the region. TPLF is building the power by the cost of Ethiopian resources and human lives. “Shabia” does not want to see strong military presence and developed economy in “Tigray”. It is always in alert to crash “Woyane” at any time when “Woyane” loses the support from other parts of Ethiopia. Thus if Ethiopia disintegrates as TPLF wants it to be, “Shabia” undoubtedly will invade “Tigray”.
Despite all these drawbacks, the “Tigray” people are true Ethiopians. Like other Ethiopians, they defended the country from foreign aggressors. They died for Ethiopia whenever the country was in distress. Like all other Ethiopian, they are good and helpful people who can coexist with others. However, the current atrocities committed by the TPLF might cause others to develop hatred towards the “Tigreans”. TPLF is acting in the Ethiopian political system by the name of the “Tigray” people. TPLF brought Tigrean soldiers from Mekele to kill innocent and unarmed people in Addis Ababa. It was evident that Tigrean soldiers were the main actors in the recent massacre. It is not surprising if one develop hatred against “Tigreans”. The massacre committed by the Tigrean soldiers against innocent citizen of the country would have been the beginning of interhamway if not for the patience of the Ethiopians. Still it will be considered as the beginning if war begins against Tigrean soldier in the future. Because, the barbaric action of Tigray soldiers left some bad impression in the peoples mind. Moreover, most “Tigreans” in the country and abroad support TPLF’s action. They do not want to denounce the killings and crimes committed by TPLF. It is expected from all of us to condemn TPLF for its actions in destabilizing Ethiopia. Otherwise, the consequence will severely affect above all the “Tigray” people.
What shall we do?
In May 15, 2005, the Ethiopians spoke in one voice that they do not want “Woyane” any more. Under normal circumstances, the Addis Ababa result would be a true representation of the whole country. TPLF’s response to this message was to kill innocent people indiscriminately. The brutal massacre committed by “Woyane” against innocent Ethiopians tells us that, “Woyane” will never give up its power peacefully. It is what we have to expect from a government in a pluralistic society when it comes out of minority population where there are other majorities. Because, it cannot get majority representation in democratic way. Totalitarian rule is the only way of survival for TPLF. Already, it has started desperate move to eliminate opposition leaders, members, supporters and innocent people who did not want to vote for it. It is pushing its toy political organizations, formed from other nationalities, to cause ethnic violence. If we allow these criminals to rule for the next five years, opposition members and their supporters in particular and the Ethiopian people in general will be the victim of secrete assassinations. There will be a wide scale robbery of our poor and dwindling assets. They will worsen our poverty.
Since we are a poor nation, the International community did not want to support our people’s effort for democratic transformation as it did for others like Ukraine and Georgia that are geopolitically and economically more important. It did not even want to denounce the murderous action of the TPLF. Rather leading nations of the international community told both the dead and the killers equally to refrain from violence. They forced imprisoned opposition leaders to sign agreement with “Woyane” while they are in prison. The world’s major Medias have almost ignored our trouble. We are given little or no coverage. They talk much about the so-called opposition gains of 174 seats from 12 seats five years a go, which is nonsense. Nowadays, they have started to say true democracy does not work in a poor country like Ethiopia. The June 13, 2005 on-line edition of “The Guardian” wrote the following. “To maintain democratic politics in a country as poor as Ethiopia is a hugely difficult task”. In contemporary world, the fate of the people demand for human and democratic rights of the poor nations is determined by the national interest of the rich nations. I.e., if powerful nation such us U.S.A thinks that a regime like TPLF is good for its national interest; it ally with TPLF irrespective of whether it is fascist or dictatorial. Therefore, we do not have to expect much from the international community. We have to act by ourselves.
Recently, TPLF leaders have started a new campaign of arresting torturing and killing of Ethiopian intellectuals in all parts of the country. The objective (as they said) is to break the backbone of “Neftegna” once again. It was decided in the secret meeting of the central committee of TPLF on June 16/17, 2005 in “Mekele”. The campaign is to eliminate our intellectuals so that TPLF leaders can assure sustainable occupation of our lands and promote their racial rule safely. All nationalities of the country have suffered a lot by the regime of TPLF. We the “Amharas” have suffered the most. Let me state some facts.
• “Woyane” officially took our fertile lands, which might be about hundred times of “Badime” from “Gondar” and “Wollo” by declaring that it is a part of “Tigray” region. Unofficially, they settled their people who were returned from Sudan refugee camps in the fertile western low lands of “Gondar” and “Gojam”, which is in “Amhara” region even on their new regional map. This area traditionally has been a winter grazing land for the highlanders and an agricultural land for those that cannot find land in the high land. Now our people cannot go there since the new “Tigrian” settlers are armed. This is occupation. Is it acceptable for a people to be occupied by others that are in the same socio-economic strata of the society in this 21st century? No. We have to deal with the situation as soon as possible.
• “Woyane” crippled our educational system. They closed many of our elementary and high schools by denying government funding while they create new ones for their own. “Woyane” is doing all these evil actions deliberately so that our future generation will not be able to take part in the decision making process of the country’s future political and economic system.
• It made our people suffer from abject poverty to the extent that the people do not think at anything other than what to eat next day.
This is the tip of the iceberg of what the TPLF regime has done to our people. It is humiliation for those of us, who have been educated with the money of our poor people, but cannot act against these evil practices. It is dishonor for us not to come up with feasible strategy to free our people from TPLF’s occupation. Is there any convincing rationale to take our lands? What assurance do we have that we will live together forever? TPLF still exists with its program of liberating “Tigray”. How can we trust “Woyane”? All its activities are kept secret from our people including from those who are working with it. In 1954, when Khrushchev, a Ukrainian, the president of the Soviet Union of the time, gave Crimea, a geopolitical strategic land in the Black Sea, in the heart of the big Euro-Asian landmass to Ukraine, the Russians did not think that Ukraine and Russia would separate in the future. Today they are two separate states and the Crimea land belongs to Ukraine. By 2017, the Russians will have to withdraw completely all their military and civilian facilities from that land. This tells us that in today’s dynamic world, there is no guarantee that different people will live together forever. Therefore, we literate people of the region have to come up with new feasible strategy to uproot TPLF’s occupation of our land before it become too deep rooted.
Let me forward my opinion. A regime that came to power with force should be removed with force. There is a legitimate ground to form armed opposition group in Ethiopia since “woyane” suppressed peoples’ vote by gun. Guns can be repealed only with gun. How can the oppositions control the army and the police even if they win the election? All officers and majority of soldiers belong to TPLF and its toy political organization. Unlike other democratic systems, the army and police forces in Ethiopia are partisan entities. Elites in these forces are among the founders of TPLF. In addition, most commanders and staff officers of tactical and operational units and others under officer ranking personals have been fighters of TPLF. Looking at these facts it is possible to say that the current army is loyal to TPLF than to the people or the country. It has proven its loyalty by killing people. If the oppositions take power, there will certainly be a military coup d’état. Therefore, it is imperative to form armed opposition party in Ethiopia. Ethiopians need vanguard party to fight against “TPLF” tribalism. It is difficult time for Ethiopia. Responsible citizens have to come up with some new ideas. We need to ally with any outsider including Eritrea if it is helpful to crash “Woyane”. We can have a long-term and short-term alliance with Eritrea based on both of our people interest. Eritrea is a country that has the recognition of the world body. The first government who gave recognition was the “Woyane” Government. We need to have a new approach on this issue. There is no permanent enemy or friend in international relationship. Today’s friend may be tomorrow’s enemy and vice versa. We have to look always at the opportunities for our people to get the optimum benefit. We can have a short term and long term strategic alliance. In the short run, we crush our common enemy “Woyane”. In the long run, we can be good trade partners. They are good customer and good consumers. They want our products and we want theirs. We have territorial contiguity that facilitates the relationship. This certainly will benefit our people. The only thing they need from us is to recognize that “Badime”, which Prime Minister Meles himself agreed in principle that it is their land, is theirs. We honor Ethiopians who died in “Badime”. However, since the fundamental objective of TPLF to create Tigray republic and disintegrate Ethiopia still exists it is difficult to see the issue of “Badime” as the issue of Ethiopia. As a rational man, who thinks to maximize our people’s benefit, I do not have to worry on the issue of “Badime” since “Woyane” has taken a big chunk of land that might be hundred times of “Badime” in value and size from Gondar and Wollo. I think it is not in our interest to say we do not want to have any kind of relationship with Eritrea unless the “Badime” situation is resolved. “Tigray’s” long-term development plan is self-centered. We are unwise, if we anticipate a trickle down development from “Tigray” that benefit the nation as a whole. Rather as time goes, they will take more of ours. Under their rule, as each year passes, they will take us two years back. Therefore, let us come up with urgent plans that can benefit our people; that can remove “Woyane’s” yoke from the shoulders our people.

Is he saying that people have no any right to air their dissatisfaction/disappointment about how the very essence of the due process of law is highly politicized to attack not only opposition political leaders but democracy itself??? Any way, the more the tplf/eprdf becomes senseless and ruthless, the more we get stronger and determined!!

I call on all Ethiopians of higher caliber to wage a writing campaign to the Obama admin and other European powers who will have a saying in how Meles behaves. Some of you here say that doing so would be begging the ferenjis to free us. I disagree with that. The ferenjis control the life line of the Meles dictatorship. They fund his crime empire. One simple example of how westerners are effective when they want to act is the level of punishment they inflicted on Mugabe to the point of making him, although reluctantly, to accept to deal with the opposition. Obama seems to be idealistic genuine person who wouldn’t want Africans to be chased and killed like a turkey shoot by American made humvees. But, considering our insignificance in world stage, there needs to be a concerted effort by Ethiopians in the west to bring the plight of the Ethiopian people to the attention of the international community. Meles and Bereket Simon are individuals with a long list of crimes. Therefore, chances of them giving up power are very small. Only economic hardship will bring them down to the point of being defeated militarily. Mengistu began losing militarily badly only after his sponser(USSR) dumped him. Meles and his agazi killers will be defeated by a small group of fighters as soon as their fresh resupply of western weapons and cash flow stops. At the same time, we have to push for the economic boycott of the woyane cash cows like Ethiopian Airlines. Yes, we all love that flag carrier, but now it is not what it was. Now it became a woyane personal property. Ethiopians should be encouraged to fly non Ethiopian Airways. If Birtukan is willing to go to prison for our freedom, can we at least do little things like that? Ethiopian airlines should be boycotted by all country loving Ethiopians. The Weyanne leader and owner Meles Zenawi has already imposed a ban on all public demonstrations and gatherings aimed at expressing dissent and opposition to his ethnic rule. What is irritating is that the leaders of the UDJP are still begging Zenawi to respect his own constitution knowing that he would never do that. This and other steps of
the UDJP, show that the party seems to lack determination and vision in its dealings with the regime of Meles Zenawi. Despite the atrocities and dictatorial nature of the regime, the UDJP maintains that it is possible to operate within the limits imposed by the former. As an apparently loyal opposition, the UDJP is doing all it can to accomodate and please the regime of Meles Zenawi. The party has abandoned the democratic and legitimate demands the former Kinijit has put forward and joined the other pro-TPLF loyal parties and personalities. The UDJP is preparing for the coming sham election whose sole purpose is to recrown Meles Zenawi and provide a facade of legitimacy to his reign. Despite all the steps of the UDJP to confirm its loyalty, the regime of Meles Zenawi has incarcerated the party`s leader. There are rumours of W/o Birtukan`s release circulating around. The rumours have it that she will be released soon. It means that Meles Zenawi has wanted to make the UDJP a very trustable loyal opposition and this has to be achieved via the polishing of w/T Birtukan. Meles Zenawi knows that the UDJP is not anti-TPLF and does not pose any threat to his political or economic interests. The US and other western diplomats see the UDJP as a cooperative party formed by the moderates who have split from the anti-TPLF hardliners. So the diplomats urge the UDJP to take part in what they call a democratic process or what Ethiopians refer to as the perpetual rule of Meles Zenawi and his TPLF successors. This how Meles Zenawi and his western masters are grooming the UDJP to be a reliable partner in the grand western political scheme aimed at eternalizing the ethnic dictatorship of the weyannes. The weyannes have not hidden their intention of using article 39 of their constitution and seceding in case they lose power in Ethiopia. They know that they will be brought to justice to account for their atrocious crimes and to avoid justice they would prefer secession.

The best way forward for the genuine Ethiopian opposition forces is to organize and lead a country wide insurgency or disobedience. The final solution to the blatant human rights violations and deepening poverty and famine in the country lie in getting rid of the weyanne ethnic dictatorship. The weyannes are openly stating that they have paid all the price needed to seize power and control Ethiopia. They consider Ethiopia as a war bounty and would never peacefully give up their grip on the country. Regrettably, some politicians are closing their eyes to this fact or looking the other way and lending the weyannes helping hands.
Meles Zenawi is so ungrateful that he often abuses, humiliates and ridicules in public his loyal opposition groups sitting in his sham parliament and legitimizing his ethnic dictatorship. Integrity and honour are not present in the vocabularies of persons like professor Beyen Petros, Dr. Merera Gudina and ato Bulcha Demeksa all of whom the weyannes refer to as benefit hunters to be discarded at any time when their services are not required. The UDJP is well on the way to join this disgracing league of the loyal opposition. The motives of the whole campaign to split Kinijit and discredit politicians who have been consistent in their anti-weaynne stands throughout are becoming clear now. Convinced of the short memory of Ethiopians, persons who have served the weyannes one way or the other, are trying to dominate the political scene in the Diaspora. These former weyanne beneficiaries and servants have played a role in the destruction of Kinijit. They are now telling us that the weyannes will not give up power through the ballot box and leading a movement which will make the weyanne rule the last dictatorship in the country. Those of us who follow Ethiopian politics closely know that these guys have not come up with any new ideals. There are already opposition forces advocating or waging all rounded struggles ( armed and peaceful) against the weyanne rule since the latter`s takeover. The difference is that the destroyers of Kinijit say they are not a political party struggling for power, but paving the way for a democratic transition in the country.

TPLF wil not allow Miazia 30, 2005 to be repeated again. The millions who came out that day if they got leadership will come with the same slogan again demanding for the TPLF to go.
The Miazia 30’s peaceful demonistration is stil not lost on TPLF’s mind and it will never allow Ethiopians to come out in any kind of rallies. The Eritrean refuges protest against Isaias few months ago is the only protest allowed, without hiding faces which is customary by Eritreans in other parts of the world, since that historical march of Miazia 30 four years ago.
Before be part of any forced make-believe election we have to fight for freedom to rally and organize. This is also a litmus test for all who believe in making change in Ethiopia, Birtukan’s led and Eng. Hailu’s led parties.
It seems TPLF do not worry about oppositions to conduct discussion in halls or hotels what I call “Hotel Democracy” and in fact exploit it as it did few days ago by picking two minutes clip of UDJ’s question and answer times for Journalists as Yacob VS Debebe, and use it for propaganda purpose.
Even the hall meetings are taped or infiltrated and activists are followed to face jail term or harassment and even disappearance. Leaders might be allowed to conduct such meetings as a show of the right to assemble according to the ” Constitution/Corruption” for foreign consumption at the expense of their followers.
Leaders have to follow the examples of Judge Birtukan and have to come out strong and face jail term if it is needed and be on the first line of the banned demonistraton.
We need leaders who lead by example and bravery like Judge Birtukan/Birtukhene meaning “brave teacher”. Show the way to freedom by braking the ban and bring the masses on the street or abandon the so called legal struggle and not be a collaborator for TPLF’s crime against peaceful people.

Nothing is new both in Weyane’s side and the opposition. They still believe that peaceful struggle is possible and Zenawi is saying its not. I don’t know where the confusion comes. Birtukan has been in jail for more than one month but no concrete action is taken by her party because it was clear that peaceful struggle alone is not possible and they partially admit these fact at least internally. They are trying to defend themselves let alone Birtukan.

The leaders of the UDJP are kidding and trying to mislead the public seeking permission to hold a protest demonstrations. They know that the dictator has banned such demonstrations and would not allow any. This lshows the desperation of the UDJP and their public relations stunt. I was embarassed after I had heard Dr. Yacob Hailemariam saying that he and Engineer Gizachew have applied for pardon pleading guilty. This means these guys have acquitted Meles Zenawi of the heinous crimes he has committed against innocent Ethiopians in the post election crisis. I can not trust these kinds of wavering guys to lead a demanding and complex struggle and set us free. Besides, by pleading guilty these guys have betrayed the hundreds killed and thousands who are suffering in the dungeons of Meles Zenawi. I regard the UDJP as a spent force with no energy and vision to be part of our genuine struggle to get rid of the ethnic dictatorship of Meles Zenawi. The leaders of the UDJP are really desperate and are in the business of deception and public relations stunt. እርግጥ jj እንዳልከው ከ”ኤርትራ” ጋር ሆኖን ለኢትዮጲያ አንድነትና አርነት መዋጋት አይቻልም:: “ኤርትራ” ውስጥ ያለው ህገ-ወጥ መንግስት የኢትዮጲያ ጠላት ለመሆኑ በብዙ መንገንድ አሳይቶአል::”ኤርትራ” የትግራይን ህዝብ ለማጥፋት ለሊትና ቀን እየሞከረች ነው:: ታዲያ “ኤርትራ” ለኢትዮጲያ አንድነትና ዴሞክራሲ የምትታገል ከሆነች እንዴት የትግራይ ህዝብን ለማጥፋት ትፈልጋለች? በታሪክ እንደምናውቀው “ኤርትራ” የትግራይ ከፍለ ሀገር አስተዳደር ነው የነበረችው:: ስለሆነም ወደ 2 ሚልሊኦን የሚጠጉ ትግሬዎች ይኖሩባታል:: ታድያ እነዝህ የ”ኤርትራ” ትግሬዎች ለምን በደም ወንድማቸውን የሆነውን የኢትዮጲያ ትግረዎችን ለማጥፋት ይሞክራሉ?
የትጥቅ ትግሉ ከወያኔና ሻእብያ እንዲሁም ለሎች የተገንጥይ ቡድኖች ተፅኖ ውጭ መካሄድ አለበት:: አባቶቻችን የኢጥልያን ወራሪ ኃይል ያሸነፉት በውጭ እርዳታ አልነበረም:: በአገራችን ብዙ የጥጥቁን የምንካሂደበት መንገንድ አለ:: ሁነታው ለትጥቅ ትግል አመች ነው:; በሱማልያ በኩል መሳርያ እንደልብ ማስገባት ይቻላል::
ወያኜ ከገረብቶች አገሮች ጋራ ያለው ግንኙነት በጣም ደካማ ነው:; ከንያም ይሁን ሱዳን የውያኔ መንግስት እንደማይቆይ ያውቃሉ:: ወያኔ ከአናሳ ጎሳ ሰለመጣ ኢትዮጲያን በኅአይል እንጂ በሰላም አይገዛም:: ወያኔ በኃይል ኢትዮጲያን ደግሞ መቆጣጠር አይችልም:: የውያኔ እጣ ወድቀት ብቻ ነው::

እኔ እንደሚገባኝ ወያኔ ወ/ት ብርቱካንን ከህግ ውጭ ያሰረበትን ምክንያት ሳያስበው ያጋለጠው የተወካዩች ምክር ቤት አፈ ጉባኤ የሆነው ተሾመ ቶጋ ነው:: የአውሮፓ ፓርላማ ምክር ቤት አባል የሆኑት ወ/ሮ አና ጎሜዝ ወ/ት ብርቱካን እንድትፈታ ጥረት እንዲያደርግ ባለፈው ሰሞን ተሾመ ቶጋን ጠይቀውታል:: አና ጎሜዝ ጥያቄውን ማቅረባቸው ጥሩ ነው:: ጥያቄውን ያቀረቡት ተሾመ ቶጋ ማን እንደሆነ ባለማወቅ ወይም ይረዳል በሚል ሳይሆን ወደፊት ለሚወስዱት እርምጃ መንገድ ለመክፈት ነው:: ጥረታቸው ውጤት እንደሚያስገኝ ተስፋ እናደርጋለን::
ተሾመ ቶጋ ወ/ት ብርቱካን አለች የተባለውን እንኳ በትክክል መድገም ባይችልም በወቅቱ ከተሰራጨው ዜና መረዳት እንደሚቻለው የታሰረችው የመንግስት ስልጣን ስለተጋፋች ነው ብሏል:: ይሄ ትክክል አባባል ነው:: እስራቱንም ከህግ ይልቅ የፓለቲካ መሆኑን ያረጋግጣል:: የፖለቲካ ጉዳይ ደግሞ በፖለቲካ እንጂ በህግ በአጥጋቢ ሁኔታ ሊፈታ አይችልም:: አሁንም ለጉዳዩ የፓለቲካ መፍትሄ መፈለግ ለነገ የሚባል አይደለም::
ወ/ት ብርቱካን የታሰረችው አውሮፓ ጉብኝት ባደረገችበት ወቅት በአንዳንድ የአህጉሩ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ መሪዎችና የፓርላማ ተመራጮች ዘንድ ከመለስ የተሻለ አቀባበል ስለተደረገላት በእጅጉ በመቅናት እንዲሁም ከሰዎቹ ጋር መገናኛቷና መነጋገሯ የፈጠሩት ድብቅ ፍራቻ ነው:: የሚዲያው ሽፋንም ሰፊ ነበር:: ለነገሩ ሃገር ውስጥ ወያኔ ካልፈቀደ ማናቸው ሰው ከዲፕሎማቲክ ኮሙኒቲ ጋር መገናኘት አይችልም:: ውጭ ሃገር ለሆነው ግን ግንኙነቱን ምክንያት አድርጎ እርምጃ መውሰድ አይን ያወጣ ስህተት ይሆናል:: ስለዚህ ብርቱካንን ለማሰር የተገኘው ዘዴ የተዘጋን ፋይል መክፈት ነው::
የሚገርመው ነገር መለስ እራሱ እና በስሩ ያሉ ሰዎች ለምን እንዳሰሯት በሚገባ አያስረዱም:: በደፈናው የፓለቲካ ሳይሆን የህግ ጉዳይ ነው ይላሉ:: እነሱ እንደሚሉት ጉዳዩ የህግ ነው ቢባል እንኳ በህጉ መድረክ እንዳትገፋ “አልቆለታል” ብለው ወድረው ይዘዋል:: የውዝግቡ ይዘት ሲታይ ግን በህግ አልቆለታል የሚያሰኝ አይደለም:: እርሷ ይቅርታ መጠየቄንም ሆነ መፈረሜን አልካድኩም እያለች ነው የለም ክደሻል የሚሏት:: “ብላለች አላለችም” የሚለው ውዝግብ የፍሬ ነገር (factual) ጥያቄ ነው:: ይህ በቀላሉ ሊረጋገጥ ይችላል:: ሌላው ጥያቄ ” ብላለች ቢባል እንኳ ያለችው ትክክል ነው ስህተት” የሚለው የህግ (legal) ጥያቄ ነው:: እንዚህና ሌሎች ተዛማጅ ጥያቄዎች ነጻ በሆነ አካል መጣራትና መወሰን ሲገባቸው ወያኔ አሻፈረኝ አልዳኝም ብሏል:: ቢርቢርሳ እንዳለው በነቂስ መርጦ ያስቀመጣቸው ዳኞች በሚይስችሉበት ፍርድ ቤት ቀርቦ ድርጊቴ በህግ መሰረት የተፈጸመ ነው ለማለት ወኔ ሲከዳው ማየት ያሳዝናል:: ብርቱካን ጠበቃ እንዳታናግር ያገዳትም ዋና ምክንያት እስራቱ እገወጥ መሆኑን ስለተረዳ መሆኑ አያጠራጥርም::
በህግ መሰረት የተሰጠ ምህረት የሚነሳው በህግ መሰረት ነው:: ብርቱካን ምህረት ያገነችው በህግ መሰረት ስለሆነ ምህረቱ ህግን ባልተከተለ ሁኔታ ተነስቷል ከተባለ የህግ መጣስ መኖር አለመኖሩን መወሰን ያለበት ፍርድ ቤት ብቻ ነው:: ወያኔ ምህረት ሰጪም ወሳጅም ሊሆን አይችልም:: ከዚህ በተጨማሪ ውዝግቡን ማየት እችላልሁ አልችልም የሚለው ፍርድ ቤት እንጂ ወያኔ አይደለም:: ከላይ እንደተባለው ወያኔ መርጦ ያስቀመጣቸው ዳኞች ጉዳዩን አይተን ለመወሰን ስልጣን የለንም ሊሉ ይችላሉ:: ችግሩ ግን ማን ፍርድ ቤት ደርሶ? ብርቱካን የህግ ባለሙያ ብትሆንም ባለው ሁኔታ የጠበቃ እርዳታ ትፈልጋለች:: ጠበቃዋን እንድታናግር ካልተፈቀደላት ጉዳይዋ ፍርድ ቤት ሊቀርብ አይችልም::
የወያኔ ህገ ወጥ ድርጊት አንድ ጥያቄ ያስነሳል:: ጥያቄው “ብርቱካን ለምን የወያኔን እርምጃ በፍርድ ቤት እንዳትቃውም ታገደች?” የሚለው ነው:: ወያኔ ያለውን ፍርድ ቤትና ዳኞች ያምናል:: በብዙ አጋጣሚዎች ታማኝነታቸውን ስላረጋገጡ ከሚፈልገው ውጭ ይወስናሉ የሚል ግምት የለም:: የማይወደው ነገር እንደዚህ ያለ ጉዳይ የሚስበውን የአለም አቀፍ ትኩረትና የዜና ስርጭት ነው:: የቴዲ አፍሮን ክስና ያስከተለውን “ሁለ ገብ” ተቃውሞ ያስታውሷል:: የወያኔ ፖለቲካ “ከእይታ የራቀ - ከአእምሮ የራቀ” የሚሉትን የፈረንጆች ተረት መተግበር ነው:: በዚህ ፓለቲካ ብዙ ሰርቶበታል - ብዙም ተጥቅሟል:: ወህኒ ወርደው ፍርድ ቤት ሳያዩ የተረሱ ወገኖቻችን የትየለሌ ናቸው:: እስከጭራሹ ደብዛቸው የጠፋውን ቤታቸው ይቁጠር::
ብርቱካን ከወያኔ ፍርድ ቤት ፍትህ እንደማታገኝ ታውቃለች:: ቢሆንም ፍርድ ቤት ቀርባ መታሰሯ እገወጥ መሆኑን ማስረዳት ይገባታል የሚል እምነት አለን:: ይሄን ካደረገች ህዝቡ አውሮፓ ያለችው እውነት መሆኑን በሚገባ ይረዳል:: እግረ መንገዱንም ወያኔ መዋሸቱንም ያረጋግጣል:: ለወደፊት የፍርድ ቤቱ ፍይል ራሱ ማስተማሪያ ይሆናል:: ፍርድ ቤት ስትመላለስ ህዝቡም ከፍርድ ቤት የማንጠፋውም ሰዎች ልናያት እድል እንገኛለን:: በዚያውም ትግሉን እናፋፍማለን:: ዳያስፖራውም ድምጹን ማሰማት ይቀጥላል:: የአለም አቀፉ ህብረተሰብም ሁኔታውን ለመከታተል ይመቸዋል:: ወቅታዊው ትግል በዚህ አቅጣጫ መሄድ ይግባዋል ብለን እናስባለን::
ወ/ት ብርቱካን ጉዳይዋን ፍርድ ቤት እንዳታቀርብ ማገድ ህገ መንግስታዊ ማብቷን መጣስ ነው:: ህገ መንግስታዊ መብትን መጣስ ደግሞ የህግም የፓለቲካም ጥያቄ ያስነሳል:: የህጉ መንገድ መዘጋት ለብርቱካንና ለደጋፊዎችዋ የሚተወው የፓለቲካውን አማራጭ ብቻ ይሆናል:: ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ የፓለቲካው ትግል አካል ነው::
ዛሬ የወያኔ መንግስት ቁንጮ ባለስልጣን የብርቱካንን መታሰር ምክንያት አድርጋችሁ ሰልፍ ብትወጡ እኔን ወያኔ አይድርገኝ ብሎ ፉከራ ብጤ አሰማ:: ስወዬ !! የህጉንም የፖለቲካውንም መንገድ ዘግታችሁ እንዴት ይሆናል? ነገ የት እንገባለን የሚል ትንሽም ማሰብ የለም ወይስ ለዘለአለም ስልጣን ላይ እንደምትኖሩ ትንቢት ሰምታችሁ በህልም ናላችሁ ዞሯል? በናንተ ቤት ሌላው ሰው ህግም ፓለቲካም የማይገባው እንሰሳ ነው:: ሰለሆነም በሃይልና ማስፈራራት ልጓም ተሸብቦ ማያዝ አለበት::

W/t Birtukan had not contested in the 2005 eelctions. It looks that some of us are not following the political developments in Ethiopia and are committing mistakes in the way we choose the opposition forces we support. Consequently, many Ethiopians abroad could not filter out the genuine from the fake and are rendering themselves to be abused by the former associates and servants of the TPLF who appear with changing colours. One needs to calm his or her nerves and go through the past 18 years history of each party and person and get a clear picture of the array of political forces who are congesting the political scene of the country. The undeserved aggrandization and popularization of figures with little or no opposition involvement does not help the struggle. The recent comers should be treated as such and given more time to prove themselves and become hardened and seasoned leaders. Some Ethiopians were frenzied and quick to call the weyanne serving politician like Professor Beyene `Mandella`. Now I frequently read some frenizied supporters of W/T Birtukan equating her with the famous Burmese female opposition politician Aung San Suu Kyi. These guys do not seem to have made a good deal of reading about the opposition political story and sacrifices of Aung San Suu Kyi. Aung San Suu Kyi has a party which has rejected the legitimacy of the military regime in Burma. Her firm and uncompromising stand against the military rule has earned her widespread support and sympathy in her country and abroad. Similarly, Ethiopia is under an illegitimate tribal paramilitary rule. On the contrary, Birtukan`s party has accepted the regime and is working under the conditions and terms set by the tribal paramilitary rule. A senior official of the UDJP has been rebuking Ethiopians for calling the paramilitary junta `weyannes` as an expression of the his party`s firm loyalty to the regime which has been rejected by the vast majority of Ethiopians. The formation and operation of political parties to advance narrow personal and group interests by colluding with the tribal paramilitary regime is what we are witnessing in Ethiopia. Persons with big business and investment are sitting in the front seats of parties and helping to project a positive image of the weyanne regime. I am ashamed of politicians like Dr. Yacob Hailemariam who have gone back home to earn money but joined a popular opposition movement to thwart the uprising against weyannes. It is also nauseating to hear the same person saying that he and engineer Gizachew have pleaded guilty and asked for public and government pardon. These are the people who are ignoring the sacrifices of the oppressed Ethiopians and repositioning themselves to be the loyal servants of the tribal paramilitary regime.

Hey EMF, where is the big news of the day that the Sudanese butcher has been indicted for crimes against humanity and war crimes? Meles Zenawi thinks he can do anything and get away with it. This is wake up call to dictators all over Africa that the world is watching and waiting for opportunity to bring them to justice. Meles Zenawi’s war crimes in Somalia and the crimes against humanity in Ethiopia will be addressed one way or the other.

ከመነሻው እንዳልነው ግንቦት 7 ያሰባሰባቸው ጦረኞች ይባስ ብለው በስደት ያለው ህዝብ ወገንህን እንድንወጋ ደግፈን ይሉታል:: እኛ አትደግፍ ነው የምንለው::
አንደኛ - እንደጦረኞቹ አንድ ቀን በወንጀል መጠየቅ ይመጣል:: ያኔ የሞቀ ኑሮ ደህና ሰንብች ማለት ብቻ ነው::
ሁለተኛ - ገንዘቡና ቁሳቁሱ የት እንደሚደርስ አይታወቅም:: ምስጢር ስለሆነ ማለት ነው::
ስስተኛ - ምንም አይነት ጥንቃቄ ቢደረግ ጦርነት እልቂት ያስከትላል:: ይሄ ደግሞ በማናቸውም መለኪያ የሚደገፍ አይደለም::
አራተኛ - የህዝቡ የኑሮ ሁኔታ ጦርነት የሚያስከትልውን የኢኮኖሚም ሆነ የማህበራዊ ችግር ጫና ለመሸከም አያስችለውም::
አምስተኛ - መሪዎችም ሆነ ህዝቡ ከጦርነት የሚማሩት ጦርነቱ ከተሳካ መንግስትን በጦርነት መቀየር መቻሉን ነው:: ስለዚህም ወደፊትም ይሞክሩታል:: የጦርነት አዙሪት ይቀጥላል:: ተያይዞም የሚከተለው ይበልጥ መጠላላትና መራራቅ ነው::
ስድስተኛ - ዲሞክራስን ለመገንባት አይረዳም:: የትጥቅ ትግል የሃይልና የትዛዝ እንጂ የውይይትና የምርጫ ባህል የለውም::
ስባተኛ -የጦርነቱ ውጤት ለህዝብ እንደሚጠቅም ከወዲሁ መናገር አይቻልም:: ከጦረነቱ በኋላ መጪው መንግስት ምን እንደሚመስል መሪዎቹ ራሳቸው አያውቁም:: አሁን ከተነጋግርንበት እንከፋፈላለን ይላሉ:: አሁን ከተነጋገርን እንከፋፈላለን ካሉ ጊዘው ሲደርስ የማይከፋፈሉበት ምክንያት የለም:: መከፋፈሉን በቀጠሮ ላስተለለፈ ድርጅት ዛሬ ድጋፍ መስጠት ስህተት ነው::
ስምንተኛ - የድርጅቱ ወታደራዊ ክንፍ ህብረ ብሄር አይደለም:: በአማራ ክልል የሚንቀሳቀስ የአማራ ድርጅት ነው:: ባለው ሁኔታ አገር አቀፍ ጦርነት ያካሂዳል የሚል ግምት የለም:: ቢያንስ ኦሮሚያ - ኦጋዴን ና ትግርይ ከድርጅቱ ውጭ ና ቸው:: ታድያ በህብረ ብሄር ቋንቋ ባያባብሉን ይሻላል:: ከሁሉም ነገር በፊት የ OLF ና የ ONLF ዘላቂ ፍላጎት እንዲሁም በጦረነቱ ውስጥ ያላቸው ድርሻ ግልጽ መሆን አለበት:: ጦረኞቹ ከፋፋይ ነው የሚሉት ጉዳይ ይሄ ነው:: እነርሱ የሚፈለጉት የወያኔን መውደቅ ብቻ ስለሆነ ከ OLF ና ከ ONLF ጋር ተደረገ ስምምነት ቢኖርም አይነግሩንም:: ዝም ብለው የሞኝ ተረታ “የትም ፍጪው ዱቄቱን አምጪው” በማለት ያላዝናሉ:: ይሄ ከሃገር ክህደት ያልተናነሰ ወንጀል ነው::

Birtukan did not even particpate in the 2005 election. She was not part of Kinijit. She joined Kinijit after Election was over. Unlike hailu shawel who has organized teh vast majority and bulk of Kinjit, she has no any constituent in ethiopia. Birtukan ignored the 8 pre conditions to join parlama and election. She aplogiozed to tigray people for doing nothing. she was mingling with Siye, beyene, Negasso etc…all anti ethiopian, anti Kinijit and anti democartic figures in ethiopia. I want her to get released from prison, but I just think she is immature in poltics. Afterall she served the same regime as judge.

ጦረነት በሃገራችን ሊያስከትል የሚችላውን ችግር በጽሁፋችን ገልጸናል:: ሰላማዊ ትግል የሚሰጠውን ጥቅምንም እንደዚሁ አስፍረናል:: ልቦና ቢኖርህ ኖሮ ቶሎ ይገባህ ነበር:: ምን ያደርጋል ውሃ ቢወቅጡት እምቦጭ ሆነና እንደገና ተመለስንበት:: ትንሽ ቢረዳህ በማለት ከላይ ያልነውን ዝቅ ብለን አስፍረነዋል:: በስሜት ሳትዋጥና ደምህ ሳይፈላ በጥሞና አስተውለው:: ቢያንስ አንዳንድ ጥያቄ አንስተህ ከራስህ ጋር ለመነጋገር ይሆንሃል:: ጓደኞች ካሉህም እንወያይበት በላቸው:: ከውይይቱም በኋላ ጦርነቱን የምትደግፍ ከሆነ ከላይ ከጻፍከው በተሻለ ሁኔታ አቋምህን ለማስረዳት ያስችልሃል:: አለበለዚያ ግን እንዲያው ማፈርያ ሆነህ መቅረትህ ነው::
” ከመነሻው እንዳልነው ግንቦት 7 ያሰባሰባቸው ጦረኞች ይባስ ብለው በስደት ያለው ህዝብ ወገኑን እንዲወጋ ገንዘብ አምጣ ይሉታል:: እኛ አትስጥ ነው የምንለው:: አንደኛ - እንደጦረኞቹ አንድ ቀን በወንጀል መጠየቅ ይመጣል:: ያኔ የሞቀ ኑሮ ደህና ሰንብች ማለት ብቻ ነው:: ሁለተኛ - ገንዘቡና ቁሳቁሱ የት እንደሚደርስ አይታወቅም:: ምስጢር ስለሆነ:: ስስተኛ - ምንም አይነት ጥንቃቄ ቢደረግ ጦርነት እልቂት ያስከትላል:: ይሄ ደግሞ በማናቸውም መለኪያ የሚደገፍ አይደለም:: አራተኛ - የህዝቡ የኑሮ ሁኔታ ጦርነት የሚያስከትለውን የኢኮኖሚም ሆነ የማህበራዊ ችግር ጫና ለመሸከም አያስችለውም:: አምስተኛ - መሪዎችም ሆነ ህዝቡ ከጦርነት የሚማሩት ጦርነቱ ከተሳካ መንግስትን በጦርነት መቀየር መቻሉን ነው:: ስለዚህም ወደፊትም ይሞክሩታል:: የጦርነት አዙሪት ይቀጥላል:: ተያይዞም የሚከተለው ይበልጥ መጠላላትና መራራቅ ነው:: ስድስተኛ - ዲሞክራስን ለመገንባት አይረዳም:: ስባተኛ -የጦርነቱ ውጤት ለህዝብ እንደሚጠቅም ከወዲሁ መናገር አይቻልም:: ከጦረነቱ በኋላ መጪው መንግስት ምን እንደሚመስል መሪዎቹ ራሳቸው አያውቁም:: አሁን ከተነጋግርንበት እንከፋፈላለን ይላሉ:: አሁን ከተነጋገርን እንከፋፈላለን ካሉ ጊዘው ሲደርስ የማይከፋፈሉበት ምክንያት የለም:: መከፋፈሉን በቀጠሮ ላስተለለፈ ድርጅት ዛሬ ድጋፍ መስጠት ስህተት ነው:: ስምንተኛ - የድርጅቱ ወታደራዊ ክንፍ ህብረ ብሄር አይደለም:: በአማራ ክልል የሚንቀሳቀስ የአማራ ድርጅት ነው:: ባለው ሁኔታ አገር አቀፍ ጦርነት ያካሂዳል የሚል ግምት የለም:: ቢያንስ ኦሮሚያ - ኦጋዴን ና ትግርይ ከድርጅቱ ውጭ ና ቸው:: ታድያ በህብረ ብሄር ቋንቋ ባታባብሉን ይሻላል:: ከሁሉም ነገር በፊት የ OLF ና የ ONLF ዘላቂ ፍላጎት እንዲሁም በጦረነቱ ውስጥ ያላቸው ድርሻ ግልጽ መሆን አለበት:: ጦረኞቹ ከፋፋይ ነው የሚሉት ጉዳይ ይሄ ነው:: እነርሱ የሚፈለጉት የወያኔን መውደቅ ብቻ ስለሆነ ከ OLF ና ከ ONLF ጋር ተደረገ ስምምነት ቢኖርም አይነግሩንም:: ዝም ብለው የሞኝ ተረታ “የትም ፍጪው ዱቄቱን አምጪው” በማለት ያላዝናሉ:: ይሄ ከሃገር ክህደት ያልተናነሰ ወንጀል ነው:: ዘጠነኛ - ኤርትራን አትፍሩ በጃችን ናት ይሉናል:: ለደቂቃ አናምናቸውም:: ኢትዩጵያ ብዙ ትንንሽ እንድትሆን አትፈልግም የሚባለው ሃሰት ነው:: አስረኛ - ሱማሊያን - ሱዳንን - ግብጽን - የማካከለኛው ምስራቅ አገሮችን እንዲሁም አሜሪካንና አውሮፓን አትፍሩ ይሉናል:: በዚህም አናምናቸውም:: ኤርትራና እንዚህ ሃገሮች የውስጥ ጦርነት ሲበራከት ሃገራችንን የሚያጠፋ ጎን ለጎን የራሳቸውን እቅድ ያወጣሉ:: ይሄ በአሁን ወቅት የየተካሄድ ያለ ትልቅ ፕሮጀክት ነው::
“ከላይ ከአንድ እስከ አስር የሰፈሩትን በጥሞና ያየ ያለጦርነት ሞቼ እገኛለሁ የሚለውን እጅህ ከምን ሊልው የገባል:: የሰላም ትግል ከላይ የተባሉት አደጋዎች የሉበትም:: የአባላትም ሆነ የደጋፊዎች በወንጀል የመጠየቅ ችግር አይፈጠርም:: የሚሰበሰበው ገንዘብ የት እንደሚሄድና ለምን ተገባር እንደሚውል በተሻለ ሁኔት መናገር ይቻላል:: የሰውም እልቂትም ሆነ የንብረት መውደም አያጋጥምም:: የህዝብ ኑሮ አይናጋም:: በአንጽሩ በጦርነት ስልጣን የመያዝ ፍላጎት ይዳከማል:: በጦርነት ወቅት የሚከሰቱ የዘር - የሃይማኖትና ሌሎች ተመሳሳይ ግጭቶች የቀንሳሉ:: በተቃራኒው ለመቀራረብ የተሻለ ሁኔታ ይፈጠራል:: ከጦረነት በተሻለ ሁኔታ ዲሞክራሲ ለመገንባት ያግዛል:: በአንድ ክልል ከሚካሄድ የብሄር ጦርነት ይልቅ የህብረ ብሄር ፖለቲካን ለማራመድ ጽኑ መፍትሄ ነው:: የብሄር ጦርነት ማካሄድና ስለ ህብረ ብሄር ትግል ማውራት አይቻልም:: በአባልትና በደጋፊዎች አካባቢ ውዥምብር በሌሎች ደግም መገለልን ያስከትላል:: ለምሳሌ ከላይ የተሰጡት አስተያየቶች ግንቦት 7 ን የአማራ ድርጅት አድርጎ መውሰድን ያመለክታሉ:: በመጨረሻም የግንቦት 7 ፍላጎት ወያኔን ከመጣል ያለፈ መሆኑን በበቂ ሁኔታ ያመለከተ ሰነድ የለም:: እዚህ ላይ ከ OLF - ONLF ጋር በምስጢር ስለተደረስው መግባባት በሰፊው አልተባለም:: ስለኤርትራም ሚና እንደዚሁ:: ሰላማዊው ትግል ከነዚህ መሰናክሎች የጸዳ ነው::”
እስኪ በፈጠረህ ጌታ ከላይ ከሰፈረው የትኛው ነው ስህተት? በእኛ እምነት ረጅም አርቲ ቡርቲ ከመጻፍ ይልቅ በነዚህ ነጥቦች ልይ አትኩረህ አስተያየትህን መስጠት ነበርብህ:: ባይገርምህ ተማሪ ፈተና የሚወድቀው እንደዚህ መስመር እየለቀቀ ሲዛላብድ ነው:: አሁን የምንወያይበት ጉዳይም እንደፈተና ሊቆጠር ይችላል:: የግንቦት 7 መሪዎች “ወያኔን በጦርነት ወይስ በሰላማዊ ትግል እንተካ?” የሚለውን የሃገራችንን መሰረታዊ የፖለቲካ ጥያቄ በትክክልና በሚገባ አልመለሱም:: እነርሱም እንደአንተ ፈተናቸውን ወድቀዋል:: አንተ እንዳልከው የድርጅቱ መሪዎች ትምህርት አላቸው:: ቢሆንም ትምህርት ስህተት ለመቀነስ ይረዳል እንጂ ለማስወገድ አያስችልም:: በእነዚህ ሰዎች ሁኔታ ትምህርታቸው ስህተትን ለመቀነስ አላስቻላቸውም:: አንዴ ከተሳሳትን አይቀር በሚል ይመስላል በዚያው በጦርነቱ አማራጭ ገፍተውበታል:: ወዳጄ !! ጥፋቱ የተማሩት እንጂ ያንተ አይደለም:: በእኛ እምነት ይቅርታ ሊደረግልህ ይገባል::
እንዲያው በአጉራ ዘለልነት ሌሎችን መዝለፍ ይቀናሃል እንጂ በጥሞና ብታሰላስል ሰላማዊ ትግል ሰፊ መሰረት እንዳለው ትገነዘባለህ:: አንድ ምሳሌ ልስጥህ - ሃይማኖት:: ሰላማዊ ትግል በጁዳይዝም - በክርስትና - በእስልምና - በሂንዱይዝም - በቡድሂዝም - እንዲሁም በሌሎቹ ሀይማኖቶች የተደገፈ ነው:: በሃገራችን ግን ጭራሽ አልተሞከረም:: ሕንድ ከእንግሊዞች ቅኝ ግዛት ነጻ የውጣችው - የሰሜን አሜሪካ አፍሪካውያን የሲቭል መብቶች የተረጋገጡት -በሶቭየት ህብረት ስር የነበሩ ህዝቦች የየራሳቸው ሃገር የመሰረቱት - አርጀንቲና ደቡብ አፍርካ ሜክሲኮ ዩክሬንና ለሎች በርካታ ሃገሮች ከጨቋኝ መንግስት የተገላገሉት በሰላማዊ ትግል ነው:: በከፊል ከተሳኩት ውስጥ ኬንያና ዚምባብዌ ለጨመሩ ይችላሉ:: ዛሬ ኬንያና ዚምባብዌ ከእኛ የተሻለ አስተዳደር አላቸው:: በተቃራኒው በቅርቡ በጦረነት ነጻነት ያገኘ አንዳችም ሃገር ወይም ህዝብ መጥቀስ አይቻልም::
ወንድም አንበሴ !! የጦርነት ወይም የሰላማዊ ትግል ምርጫው ያንተ ቢሆንም በመጨረሻ ወሳኙ ህዝቡ ነው:: ህዝቡ ምረጥ ቢባል ጦረነትን አሻፈረኝ እንደሚል አያጠራጥርም:: ግን ማን አዳምጦት:: በጉልበት በተጫነበት ጦረነት ነጻ መውጣት አለበት:: እምቢ ካለ የምሱን ያገኛል:: ነገር ግን እርማችሁን አውጡ እንጂ ይሄ መንገድ አይሳካም:: እኛ የምንለውን የሚደገፈው ማስረጃ የትዬ ለሌ ነው::

yemsrak Lejoch!!! ሁለተኛው ፍሬከርስኪ ጽሁፍህ የብዙ አስመስለህ ለመዘላበድ ሞክረሃል ፍልስፍናዎችህንን ሁሉ ያነበበ ውስጣዊው ወያኔ መሆንህን ለማወቅ ምንም ጊዜ አልፈጀበትም:: ያው የወያኔያችሁ ዋናው “ምላስ ዜናዊ” የሚያስፈራራበትን ቃል ከዘላበድህ ብሁዋላ ደግመህልናል -የምሱን ያገኛል ብለሃል: ይህ የወያኔ የ18 አመታት የማስፈረራሪያ ቃል መሆኑንና ተቃዋሚ መሳይ ወያኔ ለመሆንህና ለማዘናጋት የጻፍከው ፍልስፍና ሁሉ በማላሳቸው ይተዳደሩ የነበሩትን የቀድሞ ካድረዎችን ነው ያስታወስከኝ:: ኢትዮጵያ ሃገራችን በሌሎች ሃገሮች ፍልስፍና ሳይሆን በራስዋ ልጆች መንገድና ተጨባጭ እይታ ነው ችግሮችዋን የምታስወግደው እንጂ እንደላቦራቶር: አንዴ ሶሻሊዝም: አንዴ የአልባኒያ ኮምኒስም: አንዴ የወያኔ እስከመገንጠል የሚታወጅባትና ብሄርን ከብሄር የሚያናቁር የዘረኝነት ፖሊሲ ታውጆባት ዝንተ አለም የስቃይ ሃገር አትሆንም:: ትእግስተኛውና እውነተኛው የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ በቃኝ ያለበት ወቅት ነው:: ወያኔ በንጹሃን ህዝባችን ላይ እያደረገ ላለው በጦር መሳሪያ ተኩስ በምስጢርና በግልጽ እየገደለ ላለው ወንጀል ደንታ ያልሰጠህና ደጋፊ ያለህ ለማስመሰል እኔና…. ብጤዎችህ ወያኔዎችና ሆዳሞች ቅጣታችሁን የምታገኙበት ጊዜ ስለቀረበ ጭንቀታችሁን በማስፈራራት ለመወጣት ትጥራላችሁ:: ተቃዋሚና ብዙሃን መስለህ የወያኔን ህይወት ለማራዘም የምታደርገው ጥረት ምንም እርባና የሌለውና ማዘናጊያ የዘረኛው ወያኔ ማስመሰያ ነው::
