EMF (2 March 09) More students have been severely beaten and arrested at Bahir Dar University, 578 kilometers from Addis Ababa, on Saturday, EMF source said.
Sources said Bahir Dar’s Peda collage and Poly University are enclosed by Meles Zenawi’s special force to contain possible riots. “The university looks a military compound.” a student told EMF on condition of anonymity. No regular school sessions were held on Monday, March 02, 2009.
On 22 Feb. 09 EMF has reported that dozens of students were injured and arrested after inter-ethnic conflict sparked at Bahir Dar University primarily between the Amhara and Tigrean ethnic students.
The students’ protest started after the federal police arrested 18 ethnic Amhara students holding them responsible for leading the previous protests. Hundreds of Bahir Dar residents entered the university compound to show solidarity for the students, according to the source.
The inter-ethnic conflicts and tensions, presumably instigated by the TPLF cadres are reportedly spreading over to Mekele University.

The ethnic dictatorship of Meles Zenawi is escalating its brutality and repression which is primarily targetting the Amhara and Oromo sections of our communities. The weyannes which had started their struggle as anti-Amhara and anti-Ethiopia, are now attacking the Oromos also. There is a growing opposition and resentment against the weyanne rule in Ethiopia. The problem is the absence of an organized and strong opposition force which can coordinate and lead the anti-weyanne struggle. The continued rule of Meles Zenawi is not because of his strength but because of the fragmentation and weakness of the opposition. We know that some of the opposition groups are the makings of Meles Zenawi and are serving his regime. Some of Zenawi`s men inflitrate and cripple emerging strong opposition forces like they did with Kinijit. The bitter and unpleasant expereince with Kinijit proves that persons with any kind of past association or connection with the weyannes can not be trusted. The weyanne agents and messengers can appear on the political scene using different names and tactics, but their mission remains the same, that is to divide and weaken any genuine opposition to the weyanne regime. The claim to be a genuine opposition struggleing to abolish the dictatorship of the weyannes but do not take hard steps like calling on Ethiopians to boycott the economic interests of the weyannes and social isolation of their members and supporters. If the opposition forces or their leaders do not have any economic interest with the weyanne regime, the boycott will be one of the most important tools they use against the system. This simple step can be used as a measure of the genuinty and seriousness of any opposition force claiming to wage an all out wasr against the ethnic dictatorship of Meles Zenawi.

The choice facing all Ethiopians is one and the same. To continue to live under the dark forces of racism and discrimination or pay the required price to be free. The west have flocked to Ethiopia to support and prolong the lifespan of the ethnic regime of Meles Zenawi. They have a vested interest in the regime and would not stop supporting it. All the lobbyings and demonstrations have not been effective in persuading the west to stop supporting the racist regime in Ethiopia. History tells us that the west used to support the white minority regime in South Africa until the forces of democracy, freedom and justice prevailed and removed it from power. The South African experience can serve us as a source of useful lessons in our struggle against the western imposed minority ethnic rule in Ethiopia. We should be able to organize and launch a country wide insurgency in Ethiopia and at the same time warn the west that they are the legitimate targets given their continued support to the racist regime in Ethiopia. The west do not accept and understand the language of democracy and peace in Africa. They are willing to talk and reconsider their destructive policy and engagement when we flex our muscles. When the west see a serious and well organized insurgency, they will knock on our doors and speak to us.

Woyanes realy seem to be worried that the Ethiopian people are rising in unison to remove the woyane corporation for good. That is why many woyannes are crying out their old fashioned ethnicist song. I can see that woyanes are scared to their shit about the idea of opposition group organising themselves as Ethiopians. They are telling us to split in to Amhara and non-Amhara where as the minority rule of woyane is contemptously ravaging the lives of the Ethiopian people. This is not smart enough even to fool third-graders.
The conflict and violence in Bahir Dar is instigated by Woyane cadres to scare the Tigrayan population that the ‘non-Tigrayans’ are coming against them. Meles and co has been gambling with the lives of the sons of Tigray people to stay in power.

The resentment and growing opposition to the TPLF misrule in Ethiopia is not only limited the Amharas as one or a couple of weyanne cadres are trying to make us believe. The Oromos now constitute largest group of Ethiopians languishing in the jails of the TPLF. Actually, the TPLF is facing the stiffest resistance in the oromia region where it maintains many units of its army. One can rightly say that the Oromos are leading the resistance or struggle against the TPLF in Ethiopia with their genuine anti-TPLF vanguard organization the OLF. Regarding the expansion of universities and colleges in the country, one can see the ploys of the TPLF here. The standard of eduaction has fallen drastically in the country and these institutions are simply producing poorly trained and unqualified citizens. The construction of shoddy buildings which are enriching TPLF`s corrupt officials here and there can not be presented as an achievement or progress in education. The exception can be the TPLF`s privileged makelle University where almost all the countrty`s resources are spent. The inequitable allocation of resources and availability of educational opportunities is being aggravated by the preferential treatment the members and supporters of the TPLF receive. One of the principal objectives of the TPLF is the total control of the economic and political lives of the country and producing as many Tigre intellectuals and wealthy persons as possible. This is what is happening in the country and all the non-tigre members of the Ethiopian communties are resisting the TPLF`s policy of discrimination and marginalization in the country. The reality is that Ethiopia is now the sole property of the Tigre elites where other Ethiopians are reduced to secondary citizens and servants.

I think all the other opposition groups do not have problems working with OLF. All what they are asking is for democracy and freedom within the unity. I believe OLF has a great chance of being elected to the highest level in the future free and fair election. We should all coordinate our efforts to achieve a genuinlly democratic society in Ethiopia. EPPF is working toward that goal.

This is the pleasure of hating. when the tplfwoyane robbers came into Ethiopia,they were barefoot and broke but had a lot of guns and bullets to loot and murder Ethiopians. They brought into the country absolutely nothing but deadly virus and disgusting haterade;lives wasted and resources looted.
Of course,they never had better life in the past than today and will have much better, and better life in the future than today,if and only if they are able to escape with the loot and the blood in their stealing-and-murdering-hands.
Having been utterly defeated and lost the 2005 election to Ethiopians,the robbers got mad and went into a complete insanity and went out on the streets of Addis and other regions of Ethiopia and murdered Ethiopians at random and selective shooting and went back to their meeting rooms and enjoyed the pleasure of hating Ethiopians.
Today,the murderous robbers enjoy killing,stealing,and drinking,of course;blood and red vodka.As they came into Ethiopia via invasion,they will be forced out of Ethiopia by the mighty power of the united Ethiopians.
Every single man and women Ethiopians’ they shook the tree of life and shattered and demolished the precious life,they shall be receiving sour and hot punishment tantamount to the weired crime they committed for the past years.
Every single mean and murderous members of the crimefamily,either individually or in group, as bloodritual,would pause and bloodsmile how quickly they are transfrmed from a mere robbers into a multimillionaire and wealthy demons in just twenty years.Of course, they don’t exist in Ethiopia for a genunine living,they are simply living off the blood of the citizens that they confined to imprisionment and murder.

Either you are blind or deaf or you just simply chose to ignore the fact which is playing in front of you. All organisation are welcomed everyone to joined them including EPPF regardless their tribal stand, to fight this TPLF tyranny (you) and get them out of power and to get our country back. You know very well that this government (which you support) are not representing me or you or the majority of Ethiopian people regardless their tribe. But they are willing to do anything to keep their power, no matter what.
Of course we can and we will coming together and unite, but my friend peaceful struggle it has not worked and it will not work therefore we Ethiopian have packed up our guns to defend our country. EPPF are working effectively within and outside Ethiopia on behalf of all ethiopian, therefore it is our responsibility, which is including you (if you love your country that is) to support EPPF and save our/your country from this fascist tyranny (which is you support).

Ethiopian youth should not fall victim to the ethnic manipulation of TPLF-EPRDF. The government is provoking you to fight each other on ethnic lines as a part of the policy of divide and rule. Ignore such provocation and try to wield Ethiopianism by solidarity to each other until a popular government replaces the ethnic federalist government of Zenawi!
Diversity for Unity is the motto! Ethiopians are equal and have only one country. Ethnicity is not a political issue. It is only a cultural problem.

What Bonsa Tuffa and Atuba dolla are saying can be summed up into political and economic control by TPLF and TPLF affiliated enterprizes under ethnic dictatorship by TPLF/EPRDF /teltafi parties, political model. This political model will be sustained by UDJP and/or replaced by the new coalition Medrek, where Gebru Asrat of Tigrai Harena is the chairman and UDJP and the other loyalist oppositions will serve as teletafi parties. UDJP considers itself as moderate and aspiring for “No Change but durable democracy” in a regime where economic development by TPLF and TPLF affialted enterprizes preceeds democracy. UDJP and Ginbot 7 are a split of a split factions Kinijit conceived in prison, born in US as K-5 with the help of KIL-6 with media entourage of Ethiomedia, Abugidainfo, Addis Dimts and ETN and Prof. Alemayehu. Recently the K-5 formed their own party of UDJP in Ethiopia and Ginbot 7 through AFD sponsered by Eritrean regime. UDJP formed a coalition called Medrek”, I presume with the existing loyalist parties and the likes of Seye Abraha and Gebru Asrat of Tgrai Harena, as the alter ego to TPLF/(eprdf) of lame duck parliamentarians.
On the otherside of the equation are the hardliners engaged in a genuine peaceful struggle backed by the silent majority both at home and abroad with less access to major media coverage with Ethiomedia, Abay Media, Abugidainfo, Addis Dimits, ETN and yet posing a serious resistance to TPLF/(eprdf) regime against all odds.
Outside of these movements is the newly developed Solidarity Movement for New Ethiopia which serves as Human Right Watch Group, and advancing the ideology of Hmmanity before ethnicity.

Now, Ethiopia is at a critical juncture in her history, at which her basic interest is at stake, because our country is under the reign of her enemies. The Struggle for Ethiopian Sovereignty and the reign of Meles are inseparably intertwined. Therefore Ethiopians have to wake up, wake up soon, bury their differences, stand as one person and rise up to get rid of Meles and preserve their sovereignty.
