EMF (2 October 2008) The Woyane representatives didn’t show up today at the reception of Seattle Lucy exhibition, EMF source said.

Ethiopians in greater Seattle area are preparing for Saturday’s protest at Seattle University, Pacific Science Center.
Earlier, a lecture by Samuel Assefa was cancelled due to huge opposition and outrage by Ethiopians living in the greater Seattle area.

The end of woyannes would have been long ago had it not been due to the disunity among Ethiopians. He was ready to run away on May 8, 2005 during the mass rally which brought millions to the streets of Addis Ababa. I am sure that Tigrayans will not stand with Meles Zenawi and save him from the angry Ethiopians if they rise in unity. Ethiopians have a much larger number than Tigrayans and can easily defeat them. The fight between Ethiopians and Tigrayans will end with the total defeat of the Tigrayans. Tigrayans can not survive with out Ethiopia since their country (Tigray) is rocky or stony and can not produce food. It is the grinding poverty and famine in Tigray which enabled the EPLF and TPLF to recruit large number of Tigray fighters in their wars against Ethiopia.
The woyannes and their followers have stolen a lot of money and resources from Ethiopia and know that they can run away and live else where with their loots. They are not going to face or fight Ethiopians and lose their lives. The poor and starving woyannes were god fighters because they had nothing to lose. Their lives were full of miseries and death through fighting was their better option. Now the rich and wealthy woyannes are coward and would not die fighting. They are eating Ethiopia`s KITFO and CHOMA now. Why should they die? Previously their luxurious food was the desert cactus or QULQAL. For some of us such inflammatory suggestion may sound good at the moment but we all should be alerted that the same people who are trying to isolate Tigrean citizens from the rest of Ethiopians are diehard TPLF cadres who are scared to death since their days in power is numbered.
Despite our anger and frustration we all should remember that:
a) Tigrean is Ethiopians just as any other ethnicity in our country and they are our brothers and sister who are tied with historical and social values as one Ethiopia.
b) TPLF doesn’t have the moral decency to represent the Tigrean region
If TPLF allow free and fair election it’s proven that they will not even win a single seat in Tigrean region which is a clear indication of Woyane is a self serving mafia thug not liberators of Tigrean as they claimed to be
c) Our diversity shall be our strength thereby our moral and intellectual capacity should allow all of us to unite as one people against the TPLF tyranny and once and for all.

This is outragious new! First of all the Seattle Consular, Solomon Tadesse is not in Seattle area at this time. Currently he is in Ethiopia. To check this any one can visit waltainfo.com and read the interview he gave this week in Addis Ababa. Second there is no any oppositions who showed at the reception of Lucy. I don’t understand why this outragious news is posted in this website! Can you please do a favor to Ethiopian people by providing a reliable infrmation. The woyannes and their hodam or greedy supporters do not appear in public and challenge Ethiopians in the Diaspora. They hide and steal and eat Ethiopian resources like moles (Filfels). Lucy is nothing to the woyannes since they have betrayed Ethiopia and denounced their Ethiopian identity. I am new on this web site.
But I read all above comments and yet felt to write on this as well.
I see a lot of hatred on Tigrians. I think we must isolate the TPLF from the bulk of the rest of the lovely Tigrian Sect.
I know Woyane I and Woyane II. I have read what Atse Yohannes sabotaged Atse Theodros in Mekedella by leading the British Troops and allied with the British for a small gift of arms. I know about Atse Yohannes why he let the British defeat Atse Theodos. That is again a Histroy record. Atse Yohannes dearly paid the price being beheaded by the Sudanes Army and hanged in the Sudan.
Histroy has also recorded that how the Tigrian Lords allied again with the Italians at times of the battle of Adawa and that of Miachew. That is again History.
And every body knows what the current TPLF came to Power. Had the people of Wollelo, Gondar, Gojjam and Shoa fought the Derg Soldiers and let pass the TPLF all the way to Addis, the TPLF would have vanished into thin air let alone come to Menelik Palace and linger in power. This is a fact recorded but again the TPLF boasts as though they are born fighters. Every body knows that they are chickens. What battle did they fought Michew or Adawa. They were bandas at that time. Who was the Bulkowash[banda recruited to spy and a foot soldier of the Italians Fascists].
Much can be said how TPLF sabotaged the Ethiopian Unity and their ceding of land to foreign countries like the Sudan and fighting for the independence of Eritrea and awarding them state recognition at the UN.
Again, much can be said how they frame up the current so called Ethiopian Constitution along divisive ethnic lines like the ones Mussoloni did in Ethiopia indorder to divide and rule the Country.
So I wonder why the TPLF is not a Banda as some adovocate above.

I agree with you that people should not generalize and insult a certain ethnicity just because they disagree with some of their members in leadership. And I do like the story about the blind girl which one can draw a good lesson on how important it’s that we, as a human race, help one another in time of pain and hardship. However, coming from you who, I assume, is part of the rogue TPLF regime that lives of people’s pain and suffering; the one that bites the hand that once it fed; the one that survives through endless lies and deceptions, is quite an irony.

What is 3.5 million old fragile Lucy doing touring in USA, other than to collect hard currency for TPLF. We had seen enough tour of the K-5 to collect money in the name of Kinijit, but in the latter case to collect hard currency from the diaspora.
