Kinjit crisis passed. UDJ cirisis will pass. The young generation should learn from what happened and from what is happening. Do you think there is any policy difference between EDP,AEUP and UDJ? no not at all. The problem preventing the parties from being one is personal problems only. Finally now, the professor group has come. The same thing. Those people are arguing not about national issue but only about personal issues. it is really shame. Prof. Mesfin is mentally sick. Old age is catching him. This guy had one year if his intention was to strengthen UDJ. He did not do this at that time. Instead he was writing internal affairs of UDJ on pro0woyanie websites like ethiochannel. He is a classic anarchist. For him there is no party regulation. When UDj along with MEDREK is making a hot campaign here come an old mentally retarding to kill the struggle. He is trying to overtake UDJ by force. Hailu by far is civil. He didn’t agree that fact that CUD leaders should go to north america before they focus on the party works at home and before meeting the victims family. That was legitmate and the right thing to do. He did not agree with CUD officials. He went ahead and formed his own party. That is the polite way of doing things. He did not come and tried to chase Gizachew. Here comes Prof. Mesfin, instead of forming his own party and get his support, he opted to destroy UDJ. Prof. Mesfin has no history of forming a party and doing a struggle. He was a critique and one good at that. No doubt he had some good did in the past but now is a clear transgression of democracy. If his ideas are not accepted by majority he has to live with it or leave the party and form his own. Instead daily, he was criticizing UDJ leaders in woyane websites. The is sad. woyanies success was based on hiding their secrets even when they were fighting among themselves. Clearly, this man is out of his normal thinking and ethiopians should not be led by an 80 years old man, at least in leadership position. I am sure bertukan will be angry at him. It is very sad and disgraceful to see Professor Mesfin playing an extremely dirty political game ( if one can call it game ) at the age of 80 . I think he must be suffering from conflicting and paradoxical personality. Let it be clear that our country has suffered more than enough as the result of these type of highly introverted behaviors and acts. I do not want to beleive that the way Professor Mesfin is behaving is a tragedy. Because a tragedy is to jump from a very honest/innocent personality or situation to a diametrically opposite personality or situation. I am so doubtful about the consistency and dicency of Professor Mesfin.

አንድነት ፓርቲ ለሁለት ተከፈለ እያሉ ብዙ ሰዎች ሲያወሩ እሰማለሁ. ይህ አባባላቸው በጣም አድርጎ ያስገርመኛል ማና ማን ነው ለሁለት የሚከፈለው? ግዛቸው እና አስራት ጣሴ ማለት ይቻላል በአንድ በኩል በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ የፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ጎራ እዚህ ውስጥ ብርቱካንም አለችበት ምክንያቱም ብርቱካን ፓርቲዋ በዘር ላይ የተደራጀ አይደለም ስለዚህ ከነስዬ ጋር የሚመሳሰል ሀሳብ የላትም. ታዲያ ሁለት ሰዎች ግዛቸውና አስራት እና ሌሎች ብዙ ሰዎች ሁለት ሰዎች ምንም ሀሳብ የሌላቸው እና ብዙ ሰዎች ሀሳብ ያላቸ ራእይ ያላቸው ፓርቲውን ያደራጁ አብላጫውን ቁጥር የያዙ አባላት እንዴት ለሁለት ሊከፈሉ ይችላል?
በኔ እምነት ግዛቸው እና አስራት ጣሴ እነ ፕሮፌሰር መስፍንን ለማባረር የሚያበቃ እና የፓርቲውን መተዳደሪያ ደንብ ቀይረው እነስዬን ለማስገባት የሚያበቃ ድፍረት ያላቸው አይመስለኝም. እነዚህ ሰዎች ይሄን ያህል ጠለቅ ያለ የፖለቲካ እውቀት ያላቸውም አይደሉም. በፊትም በነበሩበት ፓርቲ ውስጥ ተሽቆጥቁጠው ትእዛዝ በመቀበል ነው የሚታወቁት. ስለዚህ የሆነው ምንድን ነው ህወሀት እነዚህን ሰዎች በማስፈራራት አንድነት ፓርቲን እንዲያፈርሱ ቀድሞውንም የቤት ሥራ ሰጥቷቸው ነበር ማለት ነው.ምክንያቱም እነዚህ ሰዎች ባይኖሩ ኖሮ አንድነት ፓርቲ ለሁለት አይከፈልም. እነዚህ ሁለት ሰዎች ባይኖሩ ብርቱካን መታሰሯ ዋጋ የለውም ለምን ቢሉ የቀሩት የሷን የፖለቲካ አላማ ይዘው መቀጠላቸው አይቀሬ ነበር. እነዚህ ሁለት ሰዎች ባይኖሩ እነ ስዬ አብርሀ አንድነት ፓርቲን አይቀላቀሉም ነበር.ይሄን ለመረዳት የፖለቲካ አዋቂም መሆን አያስፈልግም.
ስለዚህ አንድነት ፓርቲ ለሁለት አልተከፈለም!ወያኔ በግዛቸው እና በአስራት በኩል የሚፈራውን አንድነት ፓርቲን አፈረሰው ነው መባል ያለበት.

The professor him self begged siye and negaso! do you hear?? The professor was writting articles about siye’s change in attitude and was motivating the public to accept siye.
The reason why mesfin is opposing siye is only because he is not in UDJ. Those people believed that they formed UDJ and they saw it like it is their own property - even if they do anything illegal, nothing will happen. The party is for people not for individualy who established it.

There is no reliable anti-fascist opposition group now in Ethiopia. The ethnical fascists and racists of the TPLF are very glad about this situation. Medrek and all the others who are going to take part in the bogus elections of the ethnical fascist Meles Zenawi are good for nothing.

If Prof mesfin and the like of you believe you have mass base, just go on and form another party. UDJ members may leave Gizachew and join you. it is that simple. There is no need to go to UDJ’s office and try to take over by force. Prof. Mesfin’s group only consist of one-third of the executives of UDJ. Two-third is with Gizachew. That is how they lost it. Either respect majority decision or leave the party and form your own. That is the civilized way. Was not that in the first place why Prof. Mesfin has to denounce Engineer Hailu and went ahead and formed UDJ with Gizachew. In every democratic country or party decisions are made by majority vote. Prof. Mesfin lost it. For that the choice he made was to write internal UDJ affairs on pro-woyanie websites and magazines. What kind of politics is that? Revenge? This is child thinking indeed!!!

Support KAEUP, EDP, and others standing up by the side of the silent majority of Ethiopians and disolve Tigrai-Harena.medrek/epfdr along with TPLF/eprdf regime. The undemocratic squable within UDJP was in the making when the supporters and/or the party members were squabling whether to participate in 2010 election, prior to that the squable the K-5 and KILL 6, finding all excuses to break up Kinjit, into three, which brought them to 1/3 and latter based on the argument on whether to join Medrek, a conglomerate of loyalist opposition parties with ethnic agenda, reduced the party to 1/6 and firmly being anchored and infiltrated with ex-TPLFites is further reduced to 1/64, with powerfull media and vocal elites groups in the Diaspora taking the cause for unity, territorial integrity, sovereignity of Ethiopia and Ethiopians back to the same ethnic agenda, rather than national agenda under the cover of bringinging Ethiopians under democratic umbrella, as their campain slogan and credible alternative to TPLF/eprdf. Is the silent majority behind this slogan or is it a drum beat from the Diaspora media of the wishfull thinking of K-5, of “No Change But Durable Democracy”? I hope this web site will reconsider its position with regard to Ethiopian poltics and present all opinions that are sent to them so that the public can weigh the opinions in their own way. Mesfin’s problem has been known for a while although it is not spoken often. He does not like the name Oromia and the language Afan Oromo. All else is a cover up. There are others who understand the ground poltics and want to address the issues at large peacefully with out alienating any group that feels agrieved under the previous regimes. Mesfin does not want that and wants to use Birtuken as a cover to bring the status quo. There in lies the problem. He is now sensing that MEDREK may be able to bring the larger population together and kill Mesfin’s aspirations. This cannot be reconciled. He can create his own party if he wants to, but he cannot keep disturbing others with a hidden agenda.

I am saddened by the infighting in UDJ, but unlike most of you my concern started 8 months ago. Those of you who are showering insults on Prof Mesfin, I suggest you cool down ask the question how did the situation reach here? Please take a look at the bylaws of the party, was the action to expel them follow the bylaws.
The reports in the media indicate they were willing to discuss face to face or via moderators on tow occasions. The group led by Eng Gizachew refused the dialogue. ያገኙት መልስ ምን ታመጣላችሁ ነው!!!
I see some of you are saying why does not the Prof start a new party? I think they reached their limit and started to push back, ceding CUD to Ayele did not resolve anything. It is a question of principle, who are asking the Ethiopian people to stand up for their right can not run when faced with a question of the rule of law within the party.

Anyways, if these people are real people and have something good for ethiopian people, let them form a new party. Today Ethiopians want to work together more than any time. MEDREK has started the long journey. It will go untill it can. But on the way, ethiopian people will identify who is who. who wants real democracy in ethiopia? who wants all ethiopians to live confidently with out any interference? who wants to cover their motive? finally, the group which tries accomodate all ethiopians will winn. MEDREK is at better position this time. the professor group are opposing Joining of siye and negaso to UDJ - that means some ethenic groups will never accept any sort of group established by people like the professor and his street gangsters. Why should they? These kind of people want to create teletafi peoples in those ethenic groups and then rule the country like EPRDF. let them try and they will see the result. What Prof. Mesfin should do is denounce UDJ and form another party. He should indicate that he is forced to leave UDJ and form another party because he doesnot like the idea of working with MEDREK when infact UDJ is a multy ethnic party. In that way he can get many supporters including me because I never supported UDJ going into MEDREK. In fact UDJ has increased value for Merera and Beyene when it can have it all by itself. Ethiopian administration configuration must change if a party like MEDREK has to be formed or atleast all must agree to that and renounce separation. Otherwise there will be danger. Anyways I don’t personally support his latest approach. His latest tactic is wrong. After all he waited so long to take this action. It was a task that should be made when UDJ joined MEDREK period. He did not do that. He either should swallow his minority followers defeat or form another party.
But I don’t think Seye’s entrace in CUD is a problem. In fact it is very good and it is paying now. We cannot just tie ourselves to the past. We will even accept Meles if he changes like seye which means we achieved what we want without bloodshed.

Further more with the report of Eskinder Nega about Prof. Mesfin’s squabble with UDJP, the reduction of UDJP from 1/3 to 1/6 has come to a close political reality, whether NBEE hands UDJP leadership to Prof. Mesfin Woldemariam’s faction, once aggrandized by Diaspora media, now put down, with an insult for his old age, nevertheless problematic to Kinijit at the time.
