EMF - The honorable Marita Ulvskog, Swedish MP of the European parliament will join the ever strong rally to protest the presence of Ethiopia’s dictator, Meles Zenawi at Copenhagen UN Climate Summit on 17-18 December. Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia in Europe will be heading to Copenhagen to expose the Ethiopian despot in front of world leaders.
Honorable Ms Ana Gomes, who couldn’t join the rally due to her travel to USA, will also make a speech by telephone at the Bella Centre – Copenhagen.
The rally is organized by the International Network against Repression and Injustice in Ethiopia (INARIE). The organizers believe that protecting the environment is linked with good governance and a child killer Meles Zenawi has a worst record on human rights. The protesters will also call the international community to bring Meles Zenwi to justice for the genocide crimes he committed against Ethiopians.
Advocacy for Ethiopia has also hold a series of press conference on Copenhagen. The panel of experts who participated in the press conference includes Dr Seid Hassan, Dr Robsan Itana, Dr Minga Negash, Wz. Meron Ahahu, Ato Neamin Zelleke, Wz. Wassi Tesfa, and Dr Gezahegn Bekele. In a letter sent to all participants of the conference, the panelists explained, among other things, that Ethiopia’s tyrant Meles Zenawi has no mandate to represent Ethiopia and Africa at the conference.
Documentary film maker, Chris Flaherty (Migration of Beauty) is dismayed how such an oppressive figure could be accepted to represent Africa at the United Nations Climate Change Conference. “Even more astounding is the insensitivity of ‘the powers that be’ towards the suffering of the Ethiopian people,” Says Chris.
Former New York Times reporter, Doug McGill says, “he’s (Meles Zenawi’s) being recognized and welcomed with open arms.” McGill also compared him to North Korea’s Kim Jong Ill and Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe. “Meles’ 18-year rule of terror in Ethiopia has easily earned him a place alongside dictators such as Kim Jong-Il, Slobodan Milosevic, Muammar Qaddafi, Robert Mugabe, Omar al-Bashir, Than Swhe, and Ali Khamenei.”

Dear Genuine, peace-loving Ethiopians,
There is no doubt that as victims of climate change, the Ethiopian people are seriously concerned about it and they want to see the issue properly addressed through a serious and genuine dialogue that involves leaders who have an acceptable degree of respect for fundamental human rights in their own respective countries. The world is not only in a very serious problem but also in a very dangerous situation if it is trying to mitigate/minimize some big and worrisome issues such as global climate change by accepting dictatorial and bloody regimes to use the forum as an opportunity to play their political and diplomatic dirty/bloody games. I do not know what kind of conscience can believe that those who are determined to stay in power by killing and terrorizing the most valuable of all resources( human being) can be serious about other environmental factors and keep the earth a better planet to live in. I strongly believe that people like MP. Marita, MP. Anna Gomes , Film maker Chris, The New York Times reporter Mcgill and many dignitaries of several countries are at the forefront of the protest against recognizing the dictators in such a big global forum. They are saying that recognizing these ruthless dictators such as Meles Zenawi is a very terrible mistake and has no any excuse as far as the reality on the ground is concerned.
We are in a very terrible political environment if the leaders of the world are still playing a dirty political game of the cold war- standing with the worst dictators of our times as long as they go with their own interests by saying,” yes, they are evils; but they are our evils!”
As we are very aware that it is we ourselves that we can make ourselves free, we need to make relentless and well coordinated efforts wherever we may live.The need to make our voices heard throughout the world is equally important.We need not only tell but also show those dictators and leaders of other countries that unless they stop playing business as usual type of politics , the consequences would be catastrophic. It is from this point of view that the protest in Copenhagen will have an important place in the process of the peaceful struggle against the tyrant wherever he may be.

There is going to be such a disgrace for TPLF Govt. when world prominent politicians start acknowleding the facts on the current and ardent situations of Ethiopias political climate.
The harassment of free press, the systematic and injustice of imprisonment or eliminating citizens or their jobs ,because they oppose or critisize TPLF. These negativity alone put the leader of such a nation in big hole. Civilized and developed nation has a moral obligation to stop these kind of harsh and undemocratic rule, it is over due.
Indeed, the Meles Govt. under his leader ship has been in a major transformation of economical changes around major cities and some suburbs. But, this cosmotic changes are known to have benifiting only the TPLF elites and some prominent industrialist or former Diaspora loyal opportunist merchants. The infrastractures that have been glamourizing
this poor nation of our Ethiopia, might fool the diplomats, and the city dweller NGO aristocrats to certain extent. But, they know that Ethiopia’s poor has suffered deep enough for the past half century, and probably they are concluded that the poor citizens are better off today under the TPLF leadership .
But,we the diaspora and freedom loving citizens clearly understands why Human right groups around the globe are only focusing on countries or leaders that are under the umberela of “Threat or unfriendly nations to the west”. It is clear that TPLF leader Meles emboldened by the West specially by USA , for his war againest terrorism. This emboldement gave
our Dear beloved leader to do what ever he wish to do to any moving human under him. He is mr. Justice, THE GODFATHER.

I always believed, still do, if Ethiopians in the diaspora try hard to expose what EPDRF really is to the world at large, the world community might be willing to see what we Ethiopians have been witnessing for nearly a score of years: partitioning the country in the pretext of ethnic equality only just for the purpose of staying in power indefinately. Meles might be the dictator who could do anything in Ethiopia without a fleeting second thought for a rule of law, but when he will leave Addis, unlucky for him, his ominoptent power freezes for a while, at least he could not order his bodyguards to lock up Ethiopians in the anti-Meles rally in Copenhagen. Yes, he will be met by Ethiopians who are lucky not to be in his prison, that is exactly what Ethiopia is becoming now, and they should do everything in their power to tell the world what a despot ruler he is. The guy arrogance grows by leap while his political knowlege shrinks dramatically as times go by. Had he had an iota of political instinct, he should not have lobbied to be speaker for Africans when he might have known the great majority of the diaspora might try the limelight to be turned the opposite of what he wanted to be: he wanted the occassion to show he is not only a far-sighted Ethiopian leader but also a spokesman for Africans’ grievance. But the diaspora community does not let that happen. In fact right now the Ethiopian community is working to make sure international friends are among the rally participants. Having the support of significant number of European lawmakers to the side of the Ethiopian people is essential for the struggle. In fact, I believe opposition parties should not understemate the power of making international political friends whenever possible. My humble advice for Advocacy for Ethiopia is for them to work the media to the best of their ability. I do believe if they manage the media to focus on their agenda, Meles’s Copenhagen trip will only be remembered by him as one of his worst foreign trip. But the diaspora community should remember the trip as a learning curve: having political friends everywhere is essential for the struggle to succeed.

We should tell to Meles and the World, that:
What you are doing in the Global meeting, promoting the “Copenhagen accord” seems to be sound for the world as a whole. But when you try to “save the planet” don’t do it by destroying and selling Ethiopia’s forests and land! The other thing you should know is, whether you participated in leadership of the “Copenhagen accord” or not, no “sugar coating” and hiding behind “Copenhagen accord”! Your human right violation records follow you wherever you might be! That you have severely violated the “Geneva convention” rules, some of which are “perpetrating genocide”, “War crimes” and “Violation of human rights”. There is no way you escape from the international court at Hague sooner or latter! With “Copenhagen accord” or without it you’re a “fugitive”, a criminal at large!

አመሰግናለሁ EMF እናንተ ባትኖሮ ተቃጥየ እሞት ነበር ከነካኩኝ እስቲ ልተንፍስ:
Doro & mudsun በሚል ስም ሌሊት አይተኙ ቀን ተቀጥረው አይሰሩ: የበሉበትን እጅ የሚነክሱ የናት ኢትዮጵያን የጠቡትን ጡት የሚነክሱ ሆዳሞች ዕድሜ ለ EMF ድህረ ገጹ አመችቷቸዋል የገማና የከረፋ አፋቸውን ይከፍቱብናል: በጻፉና በተሳደቡ ቁጥር የጌታቸውን ቀለብና ምግብ የሆነውን ጫት ሳያነሱ አፋቸውን አይዘጉም::

እርስ በርስ የምታደርጉት ንትርክ ወያነን ማበረታታት እንጂ ምንም ፈይዳ የለውም ዋነኝውና አስፈላጊው ተግባር እንድ ቅድሞቹ አባቶች ለሃገር ለባንድራ ለወገን መቆም ነው ስማ ስማ መስማሚያ አይንሳ ሽዋ ጎጃም ወሎ ጎንደር ትግሪ ኤልባቦር ከፋ ባሌ ሲዳሞ አርሲ ወለጋ ሐረር አኦጋዴን ቢኒሻንጉል አኝውክ ወንድ ልጅ የሆንክ ተከተለኝ አኢትዮጵያ አፋልጉኝ ስንቅ የለኝም ትጥቅ አትበል አላማህ እናትህ ነች ስንቅም ትሆንሀለች እየበላህ እየጠጣህ ሂድ ብረት ያለህ ብረትክን ብረት የሌለህ ቆራጥ ጀግንነትክን ይዘህ ውጣ በገዛ አገርህ ባእድ ሆነህ እስከመቼ ትኖራለህ? የነሱን ያህል አንተም ባልቤት ነህ እንዲያውም እንተ በናትህ የምትኮራ ድንበርና ላእላውንትክን የጠብቅህ አንድነት ተግስት ይዞህ በትዝብት ስትመለከት እንድፍርሃት ቆጥረውት አገርክን ለባእድ አሳልፈው ለመሽጥ መሬት ሲሸነሽኑ ዝምብሎ መመልከት ካልምትን በስተቀር እይቻለንም ተነስ ተስማማ ወገኔ መስማሚያ አይንሳህ
