ደጀ ሰላም፤ ጁላይ 9/2009 –ቅዱስ ሲኖዶሱ ያረቀቀውን ቃለ ጉባዔ ሳያጸድቅ፣ የጀመረውን አጀንዳ ሰይቋጭ፣ ቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱን ሜዳ ላይ ጥሎ ወደ ቤቱ ገብቷል። ከስምምነት ላይ የተደረሰበት ውሳኔ በፊርማ እንዳይጸድቅ ብፁዓን አበው እስጢፋኖስ፣ ኤጲፋንዮስና ጎርጎርዮስ የሞት ሽረት ትግል አድርገው፣ አባቶችን በጥብጠው ውሳኔው እንዲከሽፍ አድርገዋል። በተለይም በምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ በጀመሩት መልካም አገልግሎት በሕዝቡ እየተመሰገኑ የነበሩት ብፁዕ አቡነ እስጢፋኖስ ይህንን ገዳይ አቋም እንዴት ሊይዙ እንደበቁ እንቆቅልሽ ሆኗል። ገሚሱ በገንዘብ ተገዝተው ነው ሲል ሌላው ደግሞ ውስጠ ዘ በሆነ ማስፈራሪያ ሊሆን ይችላል እያለ ነው።
ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ወደ አሸናፊነቱ እየመጡ ያሉት ፓትርያርኩ የበቀል በትራቸውን እንደሚመዙ እየተጠበቀ ነው። የመጀመሪያ ተጠቂዎች የሚሆኑት በአዲስ አበባ የሚገኙ ገዳማትና አድባራት አስተዳዳሪዎች ሲሆኑ ባለፈው ሳምንት በብፁዕ አቡነ ሳሙኤል መሪነት ስብሰባ ካደረጉ በሁዋላ የፓትርያርኩን ድርጊት የሚቃወም መግለጫ ማውጣታቸው ይታወሳል። ከዚህም ባሻገር ይህንን ሁሉ ሕዝብ ያስተባብርብኛል ያሉት ማህበረ ቅዱሳንም ላይ ጥርሳቸውን ነክሰዋል ተብሏል።
የቤተ ክህነቱ ድራማ ዛሬ ሲተወን ጠዋት በማለዳው ስብሰባ እንዳይገቡ የታገቱት ብፁዕ አቡነ ሳሙኤል ለምን እንደታገቱ ፌዴራል ፖሊስ ራሱ አያውቅም። የደህንነት ክፍሉ ደግሞ ለደህንነታቸው ብዬ ነው ብሏል። ድራማው ሊቀ ጳጳሱን ከስብሰባው በማስቀረት ውሳኔውን ማክሸፍ ከሆነ በርግጥም ዘዴው ሰርቷል ማለት ይቻላል።መንግሥት በበኩሉ ጉዳዩን እያጠናው እንደሆነ ውስጥ አዋቂዎች ገልጸዋል።
በተያያዘ ዜና ፓትርያርኩ የተነሣባቸውን ተቃውሞ ለመስበርና አባቶችን አንገት ለማስደፋት የሚሆን ገንዘብ ራሳቸው በግላቸው ከሚያዙበት ከቁልቢ ገብርኤል ካዝና ወጪ መደረጉ ታውቋል። የብሩ መጠን ለጊዜው ባይታወቅም ገንዘቡ ለአንዳንድ የፖሊስ ሃላፊዎች፣ ደህንነቶችና ጉልበት ላላቸው ሰዎች መበተኑ ሲታወቅ መንግሥት በውስጡ ሌላ መንግሥት ያለበት አስመስሎታል። እስከ ዛሬም በመንግሥት ስም ቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱን እግርተወርች አስረው ሲበሏት፣ ሲግጧትና ሲያዋርዷት የነበሩ ሰዎች የፓትርያርኩ ዘመዶችና ወዳጆች ብቻ ሳይሆኑ በመንግሥት ሥልጣን ላይ የተንፈራጠጡ ሰዎችም መሆናቸው እየተገለጸ መጥቷል። መንግሥት ጉዳዩን አጣርቶ ሕገ ወጦቹ እጃቸውን ከቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ላይ እንዲያነሱ ያደርጋል ተብሎ ይገመታል።
ነገሩ በዚህ ከቀጠለ ቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ አላት ለማለት እንደማያስደፍር አንድ ሊቀ ጳጳስ ተናግረዋል። ከዋሺንግተን ዲሲ ተጠርተው የተሾሙት የሲዳሞ ሀ/ስብከት ሊቀ ጳጳስና የሥራ አስፈጻሚው አባል ብፁዕ አቡነ ፋኑኤልም በበኩላቸው “ሀ/ስብከቴን ተረከቡኝ” ማለታቸው ተሰምቷል።
በርግጥም ሊቀ ጳጳሱ እንዲህ ካደረጉ ጳጳሳት የሥራ መልቀቂያ የሚያስገቡበት፣ በቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ ሳይሆን በፓትርያርክና በሴት ወይዘሮዎች ብቻ የሚመራ ቤተ ክህነት ይፈጠራል ማለት ነው።
አንድ አስተያየት ሰጪ እንደተናገሩት የፊታችን ሰኞ ስብሰባ ይደረጋል ተብሎ የሚጠበቅ ሲሆን ስብሰባው የተጠራው በቅዱስ ፓትርያርኩ ከመሆኑ አንጻር ምንም ተለየ ነገር አይጠበቅም። ቅዱስነታቸው የፊታችን እሑድ በዓለ ሲመታቸውን እንደሚያከብሩ ይታወቃል።
ለማንኛውም ደጀ ሰላም በበኩሏ “ተስፋ አንቁረጥ፣ እግዚአብሔር ሥራው ድንቅ ነውና” ትላለች።
ቅ/ሲኖዶስ በአቡነ ጳውሎስ ቦታ “እንደራሴ” ሾመ

ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ ሰሞኑን ባደረገው ሙከራ አቡነ ጳውሎስ ነገሮችን በጥሙና እንዲመለከቱና በሕገ ቤተ ክርስቲያን እንዲመሩ አባቶች በእንባ ጭምር የለመኗቸው ቢሆንም ፓትርያርኩ ግን ማንንም ለመስማት ሳይችሉ ቀርተዋል። በርግጥም ቃለ ጉባዔው በሚፈረምበት ቀን ማለትም ሐሙስ ጁላይ 9 ጠዋት ውሳኔው ቀድሞ እንደተነበበው ሆኖ ካለፈ አቡነ ጳውሎስ በሕይወት እያሉ ሥራው በእንደራሴው ይመራል ማለት ነው። ይህ ማለት ግን እንደ ቀድሞ ፓትርያርክ ከሥልጣናቸው ወርደዋል ማለት እንዳልሆነ አንድ አባት ለደጀ ሰላም አብራርተዋል። ምናልባት ግን ቅዱስነታቸው በተለመደው ጠባያቸው (የነ ወ/ሮ እጅጋየሁን ምክር ተከትለው) ከሄዱ የአቡነ መርቆርዮስ ዓይነት መጨረሻ ይገጥማቸው ይሆናል ተብሎ ተሰግቷል።
ከእንደራሴው ሹመት በተጨማሪ የጠቅላይ ቤተ ክህነት ሥራ አስኪያጅ ሹም ሽር የሚደረግ ሲሆን በተዋረድም በቅዱስነታቸው ቤተ ሰቦች ተይዘው የነበሩ ታላላቅ የአገልግሎት መምሪያዎች ሃላፊነቶች በሙሉ ለቦታው በሚመጥኑ ሊቃውንት ይሰጣሉ ተብሏል። ይህንኑ አጠቃላይ ሒደት የተመለከቱ አንድ አባት “እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ሥራውን እየሠራ ነው” ብለዋል።
እንደራሴነት ምን ማለት ነው የሚለው ጉዳይ ከሕገ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ጋር ተመሳክሮ ማብራሪያ መሰጠት እንዳለበት እያመንን ለጊዜው ግን ከዚህ ቀደም የነበረ አንድ ታሪክ ለማስታወስ እንወዳለን። ብፁዕ ወቅዱስ አቡነ ባስልዮስ (የመጀመሪያው ፓትርያርክ) በዕድሜና ጤና ምክንያት ሥራቸውን መሥራት ባልቻሉባቸው የመጨረሻ ዓመታት ሁዋላ 2ኛ ፓትርያርክ የሆኑት ሰማዕቱ ብፁዕ ወቅዱስ አቡነ ቴዎፍሎስ “እንደራሴ” ሆነው ቤተ ክርስቲያንን ሲመሩ ቆይተዋል። መንበሩ ግን የፓትርያርኩ እንደሆነ ዘልቋል። በቅዳሴ ወቅት የሚነሣውም የእንደራሴው ስም ሳይሆን የፓትርያርኩ ስም ነበር።

The Church needs more than this. It has to transform itself - it needs reformation - it has to get ready to cope up with the 21st century. One area of reformation is the church has to come completely OUT of politics. Church leaders and priests have to preach the truth and stand for justice. We need to see church leaders to speak against dictatorship, tyranny, injustice and racial discrimination. We need more Abune Petros - the great spiritual leader who stood against injustice and tyranny even at the expense of his life.

It is surprising that Abune zena markos, after he tried to be the next Patriarch, now he acts like the supporter of Abune Merkorios.
ENDERASE, means he acts as a patriarch, but doesn’t be called patriarch. So this is a victory from GOD.
We , all in the diaspora has no reason now, not to support our synod in Ethiopia.

It is a good initiative and we should appreciate the motive.Now the church has begun waking up and the people will follow soon.Do not criminalize the bishops fighting in Addis.They are better than those staying in Washington.During the ceremony of anointment,the bishops promised to sacrifice themselves.But they turned down and left the country.The people suffered,killed and thrown to jail.No bishops stood behind them.These bishops are responsible for the lost sheep.We should start appreciating and recognizing the people who stand to the truth.We salute the Synodos!!!!

Ewnetu is quite correct Aba Paulos has won this round. As much as I despise this so called Patriarch, I am happy he survived this ordeal just enough to eradicate the poisonous organization called Mahebere Kidusan which only he can do. The traitors who knowingly helped this man must first face the consequence of their treachery against all Ethiopians by selflessly empowering him for the last 18 years. These so called Mahebere Irkusan members have announced in every church to stop praying for those individuals who died with merciless weyane agazi forces. So, the Ethiopian people in Ethiopia exactly know the undercover dirty duties of Maheber Irkusan and have always try to isolate them by any means possible in the society.
The other part of Mahbere Irkusan is appointed to Diaspora with the command in chief of Tagay Paulos all over the world to accomplish their dirty destructive duties inside orothodox churches. Addis Neger reporter Abraham Begizew was today gang-beaten by Aba Paulos’ men. He was beaten by hooligans who claimed that they were the patriarch’s supporters. Abraham went to the EOC’s main office today to attend a press conference which was called by the synod. But the press conference was cancelled. He was beaten while he was heading to the newspaper’s office at Hayahulet after he learnt the cancellation of the conference. Since last year, Abraham has consistently reported the power squabbles and abuses of power within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Instead of dealing with narrow minded and biased and do not seek the truth individuals, MK and the rest of Tewahedo people has to focus on how to reach out and help those fellow Christians across the country’s border, in village and remote areas, in monasteries and traditional schools (ye abinet timirt betoch). We have to focus on improving the church administration while maintain the doctrine and canon.
Let those opponents do the trash things (finger pointing, blaming, ….), which is the easiest work in the world. Those are who have NEVER asked themselves for a minute ‘what have I personally contributed to the church and country’. Just talk talk talk and never gets changed even while residing in a developed country.

I am writting this from Kenya. Just I arrived today in Nairobi. You all know we can not open such website and chat like you. But I was so shoked not by the breaking news but the commnets. Most of us write not the truth but our emotions.
Those who wrote negative about Mahiber kidusa, one thry do know it or they deliberetly doing it.
They are either form the Menafikan or woyane.
Woaye has an agenda to disolve Mahiber Kidusa. They are making all the preparation. This could one of the conspirecy. I have friends who are memeber of the EPRDF and they told me the mission they are given by Woyane this year.
1. To follow every MK memebr and make record
2. All new EPRDF memebers form University are told not to go to MK
3. Organize a Drama like they did in Awassa Univeristy and make the bleam to MK
What makes me lough is the commnet saying that MK is geeting money from Woayne.

What makes me so annoyed is the way you are reporting this news. Does it really matter if Aba Paulos is replaced by the so called Aba Samuel? All of ther are the same and they don’t deserve no attention and respect from us. Aba Paulos is not a legitimate patriarch and every one who was appointed by him are not legitimate. We should underscore that and reject them outrightly. They are a bunch of mafias who are fighting for power. Where were Aba Samuel when highly respected learned men like Aleqa Ayalew were dismissed from his position or denied even to have a tomb on his grave by inhuman Aba Paulos? All of them are criminals and traitors. Hope they burn in hell.

I recently came across this fasciniating reading posted: Must Read:
1. The current members of this organization may not even be aware of the history of this hideous organization, as they were not even born when the organization was first formed.
It all began as opposition group of the late Abuna Tewoflos as “Atekalye Gubaye” for three primary reasons.
1) Abuna Tewoflos began in earnest the ground work for making the church to be economically self sufficient especially from the grips of dictatorial regimes. This Gubaye opposed this plan from the start and in 1975 they used the Arat Kilo Property as falls evidence to bring a drummed charges of corruption against the patriarch which was used by the Derg for the massacre of the Holy Father. Ironically today almost 40 years later these properties are providing the intended benefit to the church proving the Abuna Tewoflos insightful vision
2) In order to forever curb the influence of menafekan and “Atekalye Gubaye”, the patriarch in acted the formation of “Sebeka Gubaye” allowing every member of the parish to participate in the daily activity of the church till this very day.
3) Unlike today’s state of the church “Teneshewa Mekele”, The Holy father was a staunch Ethiopian who vehemently opposed to ethnic preferences in order to serve the body of Christ which ran to the contrary of “Atekalye Gubaye” main goal.
After its successful role in the assassination of the Holy Father, in 1981 the organization had a nerve to submit application to the Holy Synod to freely organize within the Church without any kind of accountibility. The Late Abuna TekleHaimanot sealed its fate by denying its request and later on its ultimate refugee in Zewaye region where it adopted the current infamous name “Mahebere Kidusan”. This coincided with the invasion of Woyane in 1991 who perfectly knew the history of the organization to successfully used it as a readymade tool to infiltrate the Church for its own agenda. From that time forward “Mahebere Kidusan” was allowed to organize for the first time free from the church’s authority in every parish throughout Ethiopia except Tigray region.
In 2001 the division within Woyane’s rank gave a new golden opportunity to “Mahebere Kidusan” when the surviving woyane entity (Melese’s flank) who moved to seek alliance with other nationalities as its lost a significant Tigray base. In this endeavor Aba Geberemedhene was quickly summoned to give a legal authority to “Mahebere Kidusan” to legalize its activity for the purpose of recruiting Woyane’s support as well as purge anyone who remain against woyane in the church. This 36 pages proclamation which was signed by 15 archbishops of Aba GebreMedhin on Ethiopian Calander Nehase 12/11/1994 (EC August 2002) with Synod doc # 187/275/94 gave “Mahebere Kidusan” unprecedented authority to destroy the Ethiopian Orthodox Church from within.
Since that time (till most recently) a high level delegate led by Daniel Kebret have been given limitless financial and diplomatic latitude with double mission to infiltrate the Diaspora Church’s primarily to reject the legitimate patriarch of Abuna Merkorios. If this initial plan fails, to campaign for the Diaspora church’s in proclaiming neutrality which of course is unheard of in the Orthodox Christian Faith for the last 2000 years. This clever tactic if successful provides the dilemma of an “Orthodox Church without Archbishops” a misnomer as it will create “Wefe Zerash” generation that forever excommunicate itself from its mother church. Anyone who calls for ‘neutrality’ knowingly or otherwise is practicing from the playbook of “Mahebere Kidusan” ultimately Aba Gebgremedhin and Woyanne. One can simply refers the truism of the 700 million strong orthodox family worldwide which phrases, ‘if one cannot recite his/her baptismal and archbishop’s name one cannot call himself/herself an Orthodox Christian”. (But this should be left for a later date for broader discussion.)
Seeing and calling for what it is, there is a contract on Ethiopia and the Orthodox Tewahedo Church as this priceless institution which defines the country we know staggers to behold. As Abuna Gorgorios once defined it, ‘the church that gave Ethiopia its faith, its language with Fidel, its existence with freedom …….is unlike any other in the world’ Therefore, to all of us the church and the country is the two faces of the same coin. For anyone to argue to restrain from exposing the sinister contract to destroy the church (and their by dismembering the nation of Ethiopia) is simply asking all of us to standby within the limit of artificial boundary and surrender everything that define us.
Now the inevitable has come to roost. The dragon net planted to enslave the Ethiopian people is turning its venomous fang against its master. ማቅ (ማሀብረ ቅዱሳን ) the adoring nickname given to MK by the Ethiopian faithful has now suffered a mortal blow when it lost all its material holding to the church and exiled its pseudo patriarch Daniel Kibret who in his recent article compared Jesus Christ with Prophet Mohammed. http://deje-selam.blogspot.com/2009/03/blog-post_28.html. This is the sad end of Mahebere Kidusan, and glory to the divine God of Aba Tekelhaimanot who did it.
My heart goes out to those young members of “Mahebere Kidusan” who unknowingly are complicit with the most evil alien ever to occupy our nation. Christ the Lord has given all of us the passage of repentance to join the everlasting mercy of his kingdom, and we shall pray for that day to come upon them. Today however, I am more concerned with millions of faithful of the church and the people of Ethiopia to make sure the agent of nation-killers are not left without measure.

Ertro weyane who is always divisive wants to create fight among united Ethiopians and its religion, Tigro weyane who are fantasized but doesn’t have nothing power or wealth and controlled and used (on the name of tigray ppl) by ertro weyane.

From your long post it is obvious that you know nothing about Mahibere kidusan. It is a very long conspiracy theory you put in here. Membere’s of MK and many christians in Ethiopia know the nature of the organization and its achievement. And don’t feel sorry for the young members of MK. They are very capable and intellegent kids who love their church and their country. If you go to Ethiopia and try to associate MK with woyane everybody will lough at you. MK is always with Ethiopian people. MK never kept quite when the gov’t shoot people on the street. Read their magazine and monthly paper. In America and Europe, Ethiopian are opening ‘churchs’ in every corner and pay morgage in millions every year when churchs in the countryside are closing due to lack of finance. It is only MK and few churchs in exaile who are keeping the churchs in countryside open and support our church scholars (ye Abenet memeheran).
I am planning to join this great association, and advice you to study the association before writting such long, biased accusation.
