EMF (29 May 2009) Abune Paulos, a political appointee of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, is removed from his administrative power, sources said.
Aba Tekeste W/Samuel, now Bishop Samuel, ethnic Tigrean and former TPLF spy at Waldba Monastry is expected to be his successor. Our sources confirmed that there is longstanding rivalry and accusations between the two. Aba Tekeste has a very close relationship with Azeb Mesfin (wife of Meles Zenawi).
Week-long session was held by the Holy Synod from 14 to 29 May 2009, which passed the resolution to avoid Abune Paulos from his power.
Reports from EOC also confirm that Abune Paulos has eliminated many of his opponents. Among the bishops removed by Aba Paulos include Abune Matias, Abune Yoseph, Abune Petros and Abune Elias. They all are dead in a misterious way. Paulos’ bodyguards have also gunned down a priest inside a church in Addis Ababa.
Under EOC’s rule, the legitimate patriarch of Ethiopia is the exiled Abune Merkorios, who is in USA. According to the rule, a new patriarch cannot be named while the incumbent is alive.
Aba Paulos has been criticized to serve as an apologist for Meles Zenawi atrocities, including killings inside a church.
He has also built a golden palace for himself in Addis Ababa using public funds.

As I have been informed from the betekihnet, I know that this guy , Tekeste W/Samuel, was figthing with Aba Paulos and he was confronting him and saying “Antem Tigre …Enem Tigre…eski be-min ansalehu …..yileylinal….” He was saying this infront of other pops and episkopos.
After that Paulos was trying to use mass power by fake….He started to put his images with big frames in Addis churches (Like that imajes of Jesus or St. Marry). It is clear that racist leadrrs have no limit. They go from Ethio…to Tigray, From Tigray to Adwa…From Adwa to family members….

As a member of the laity of EOC I pray to God to give us a solution. At the same time if you closely see the Church’s holy tradition, it seems that both Aba Paulos and Aba Merkorios are not legitimate because they took their positions while the unbeliever political leaders assignned them while their predecessors were alive. But our issues should not revolve around these individuals as that approch tends to divide the Church. I believe both of them need to be denounced as they seem to seek worldly power in a manner that challenges the unity of the Church. I do not think these ‘leaders’ are ready to lead a simple monastic life.
When challenges come from unbeliever political leaders, the removed patriarches need to be ready to be martyrs or go for a monastic life (and not to flee to America). Lets wait and see where Aba Paulos is heading: jail, monastry, or exile? If he has confessed because of the mistakes he did, he will prove that by openly denouncing government intervention in the Church including his assignment as patriarch as well as the assignment of Aba Merkorios by the previous government.
EOC is a church headed by Jesus. He will give the answer to us sooner or later. He will never leave the church in this mess by politicians.
That said, the laity should examine the problems more closely and critically rather than simply assigning themselves to one ‘camp’ or another. At least we shold not give it ethnic color and we need to pray. The church is just one and the patriarchs should not be politicians of any sort except in matters of defence of the Country and the Church itself.

I am happy that Abune Paulos has been removed from his position bc many people want him to leave but please donot relate our religion to polotics.
When a leader is chosen to be a pop of the EOC then there is a praying done before being selected even abune Paulos was chosen like that.
So I donot think that what u r saying is true.

If it is a true religion it is never dependent on polotics so why are u relating the new leader with Azeb mesfin. I do not even know if she belives in God bc I think their polotics do not allow them to belive in GOD.

This is a gross misinterpretation of what happened within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Abuna Paulos wasn’t removed from his position as a patriarch of the church. He was “relieved” of his administrative duties, and that responsibility was given to Abuna Samuel. As per the decision of the synod, the patriarch remains the spiritual leader of the church. You would rather pull down this post before you face an “eggs in face” scenario.

The ethno-fascists in power in Ethiopia are controlling every aspect of the lives of their subjects including religious institutions. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church (EOC)is one of the prime targets of ethno-fascism and facing tremendous difficulties for its survival. The Ethno-fascist Meles Zenawi associates the EOC with the Amharas and is doing all he can to undermine and weaken the church. Meles Zenawi`s anti-Amhara campaign and policy are leading to significant loss of lives and displacements. The followers of the church are facing systematic persecutions in the eastern, southern and western parts of the country.
The appointment of the TPLF cadres as leaders of this holy religious institution (EOC) amounts to blasphemy and desceration of the faith of Christianity and should be condemned and rejected by all citizens.

The week-long session of the Holy Synod of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church (May 14-21) passed a landmark resolution affecting the administration of the Church endowment. The hitherto administrator, His Holiness Abune Paulos, Patriarch of EOC, is to hand over administrative power to a just set up executive committee made up of seven bishops, source close to the Holy Synod told Addis Neger.
In another development, the 43 member synod has rejected the Patriarch’s proposal to break up the Addis Ababa diocese into four divisions to curb, (according to the patriarch) the rampant corruption in that particular diocese. Much of the synod’s attention was focused on the performance of the patriarch’s administration which was hotly discussed, according to the same source. (Ethiopian Weekly Press Digest)

This is not a big event in Ethiopian politics. Woyane is tryingt to play with people’s feelings without making any changes in important offices of the government and the military. This is a psychological game, to fake some changes while there is no any real change.

Dear brothers and sisters in God,
‘I have no idea why you are mixing the immiscible? Please any one who want to be a good politician, writers, editor or what ever should respect what the audiences believe and respect.
You know as Ethiopian Journalist, writer etc are not expected to undermine the main Ethiopian religion. Please be ethical and politically or Ethiopian nationally correct and have a decency not to undermine the EOC. This is not a matter of being religious but it is a matter of being a Good Ethiopian who share Ethiopian values and brought up and shaped by Good Ethiopian parents.
I have a good attitude to at list read what politics have to say and hate the WOYANES but I do not like insulting our religious fathers. This doesn’t mean praising them for what they haven’t done. Be advised at list to use proper and descent words to criticize them if you have to.
You know Bad leaders even in the church will be given for a people like us!!!!
Let God see us in his mercy full eyes!!
Ethiopia needs to pray for God’s blessing especially on this 11th hour of the day!

This is power transfer according to TPLF. We heard few days back the TPLF boss, Meles Zenawi, promised to replace the “aged looters” with young looters.
The likes of Azeb Mesfin will be the first “Tagaye” woman to lead her looting party to total victory in the make-bleive election of June 2010. Her husband will give order in bed and enjoy life by making “speeches” for his sponsors in the West if he is lucky.
This is the card played by TPLF to keep power for the next eighteen years and eventually set a new record to hold on power in Ethiopia.
Bishop Paulose had enough wealth to retire safely in USA. The Orthodox Religion power transfer to the new TPLF cadre is similar to the political transfer to the young TPLF looters led by Azeb Mesfin.
The new Orthodox TPLF cadre will not get any support from the believers because he is not a religious person and any attempt to distance himself from Paulose is another fake gesture.

Even those of us in Los Angeles, who are not in Aba Paulos’ camp, don’t go down to your level. There is no child that we know of. If there was, it would have been used it to exploite situations by now. I know this because he was at my church ….
With regards to earlier comments made about both Abune Markorios and Abune Paulos, there are some who would like to disregard both by any means necessary in order ot have their way in the church. One of the group on that block in Mahbere Kidusan. This is clearly manifested by the actions of the group and the active condomnation of how both came in to power. I agree Aba Paulos was elected while a sitting Patriarch is alive … Abune Markorios on the other hand was not. The argument that both are appointed by the influence of the government in power cannot hold water because the first two patriarches (Baslios and Tewoflos) were also elected by the concent or blessings of Emperor Haile Selassie. So, it is a fact that there is no Patriarch that has not been elected by the influence of the ruling entity. In addition, there is no rule or regulation in the church that permits us to remove a patriarch because his appointment was influence or directed by the goverment.
Let us not try to use that excuse to serve our interests.

Meles is now playing a church politics. The church politics is not going to take him anywhere. There will be a day to separate government from church, like the American way of separation between church and state. Let the churches do their own things without involvinge with politics. The news reporters have the right to inform the public what is going on in the church. But we do not have to loose our mind to see what is going on between Aba Paulos and Tekeste W/Samuel. Let them figure it out by themselves.

I think that the news is harshly concluded. There is little acrimony b/n the woyane’s leader and aba paulos, but that doesn’t mean that aba paulos will leave power. There is no concrete evidence to assert like that. I think this kind of sensational news will undermine the credibility of the website. Let’s take care on reporting news of such kind because people will not forget them easily.

I feel that I know you very well. I read your clarification remarks and came to believe that there was something that was going on the EOC. You tried to belittle the news or accuse the editor of gross ramification, but I didn’t see any strong argument from your side too. What I can see from your comments and others is that the Paulos cabal has lost some power to the newly appointed patriarch. The transfer of power per se shows that there were a rift in the Church. To me the Paulos is now on power only in name not in deed. He could be like the Nagso or Girma Woldegirogis of Ethiopia, doing the ceremonial and trivial job than having the real power over matters. I think your comments have made me to trust the news more than I thought in the first reading of the news. Wishing the best from your former compatriot/ colleague.

Save the adjective for yourself. Anonymous insolence is no substitute for argument. The title of this news article is misleading. “Lost power” doesn’t mean “lost some power.” If the line which says “Aba Tekeste W/Samuel, now Bishop Samuel, ethnic Tigrean and former TPLF spy at Waldba Monastry is expected to be the next Patriarch of EOC” is read in conjunction with the sentence you quoted, it gives the meaning that there is an impending transfer of power.

The EOC has one partriarch. There is no newly appointed patriarch. Before Aba Paulos’ era of power hegemony, the patriarch was more of a spiritual leader and less of an adminstrator. Indeed, this isn’t a run-of-the-mill story, but it was reported here in profoundly misleading way.

Just cool down and show me where I am dead wrong (and possibly where you are deal right!). Then, I might agree with you. If you run to insult me without making any point, you are not giving me the opportunity to appreciate your ideas. Please re-read what I wrote and do not run to throw words of insult; that’s not our culture. I did not support or reject any of the three persons mentioned in the news without a reason. Why are you tagging me as ‘narrow’. For that matter I do not care from which MENDER the next partiarch is going to come and from where the previous ones came (seems that is where you and me differ). For me, what matters is that the Patriarch should be a real Orthodox abba. Strictly speaking, even citizenship may not matter because the head of the Church is Jesus and his immediate disciples were from the Middle East. Supposedly the existing patriarches received their authority from the original disciples. Thus, any existing patriarch should act like the original disciples did and should neither be installed for political ends nor be followed because he is from one’s ethnic group. Otherwise, where is Orthodoxy? That is why I have a problem with Abba Paulos, the previous Partiarch and possibly the future ones (if installed for political ends). For you, I am narrow because I did not assign myself to either group automatically. I am not ready to apply a double standard; I want to be just loyal to the Church, its religeous teachings and ALL its originality practices.
If you have already assigned yourself to one of the competing groups based on ethnicity or political views or your quest for ‘revision’ of the Church’s tradition, I can’t help, but I just wrote the facts and above all you cannot promote your views by silencing me.

This story is a pure fabrication because I know it is not true as I, myself, took leave of the Patriarch, as recently as Thursday 28th May at his office. For those who wish to know what had happened within the last 2 weeks when the EOTC had one of its biannual meeting of its Holy Synod, I pledge in the name of our Lord and Saviour, to put the whole truth and nothing but the truth, as follows:
As the saying “there is no smoke without fire” goes there, indeed, is a grain of truth in the story. But the trouble is that not only is it mixed up with other stories, but it is taken out of proportion. It is, therefore, vital to dwell first about the relationship between Abuna Paulos and Abuna Samuel who is the current Archbishop of Addis Ababa. Archbishop Samuel, it must be noted, was a monk wooed to the Mother Church from America where he was in self-imposed exile and catapulted to the status of an archbishop - and an Archbishop of Addis Ababa at that - by none other than Patriarch Paulos. In point of fact not only is Samuel Archbishop of Addis but his official title also includes that of Special Assistant to the Patrirarch. For outsiders, it gives the semblance of fraternal relationship between the two. The reality, however, could not be starker. You see with Abuna Paulos - however much we detest him - there is one thing one cannot deny. He is a well educated - Doctorate in Theology/Divinity from Princeton - monk who has ushered in great reforms to an ancient country with an ultra conservative leadership. In other words you can confidently state that Paulos has effectively used his time in exile by broadening his academic ability. With Samuel, however, nothing can be cited about his decade long existence in America other than his loyal duty as petrol station attendant. This has created an acute inferiority complex on the part of Samuel, that he is seen indulging in a tug of war. Even if Abuna Paulos were to step down voluntarily there is no way that Samuel would succeed him as his affair with a spinster has become an open secret within the Theological College wherein his home is to be found. So you can clearly see for yourself how this news about Samuel positioning himself to sit on Paulo’s seat has evolved. You may rest assured that Paulos will remain on his seat until his dying day.
Who sists on the Patriarichal throne must not be an issue for those who want to get to the bottom of not who is right but what is right in the EOTC. And that is precisely why the Holy Synod had commissioned the setting up of a number of ad hoc committes to look at various issues one of which was the need to appoint 3more archbishops to cater the growing need of the four geographical parts of Addis.
We should, instead, be debating about the growing threat of Islamazation in Ethiopia. Do lets remember that when we fight each other on trivia galloping Islamization has covered Ethiopia. I do apologize for the lengthy comment

The present patriach has done little to increase the rights of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. The regimes of Ethiopia has been abusing the Church to stabilize their governments. The Church should reclaim it’s indepedence from any government that might be ruling Ethiopia. May be we need something like a Vatican. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church more than any other church in the world needs to defend itself from the intervention of governments. Post Woyane Ethiopia, should consider strategies to make the Ethiopian Orthodox Church more independent from the governments, who come and go.

Who is amazed by this knid of appointment? The ethiopian Orthodox church has been always supporting the reimes in Ethiopia. And the government is utilizing the religion as a weapon. The best solution to this kind of anarchy is state & religion should be kept separted. This the change we all wish & should fight to bring to an end the intimacy of Government & religion. Not ony Orthodx Religion, but also others. Then we will hae peace. Does the Bible order us to side to government and kill others? So please let us fight our own religion entities, instead of talking about this Papal is from Tigray, Gondar, Wollega, etc. We must fight for the emanicipation of our religions fro m government controll and abuse. We are followers of these religions but they are worst thhan the enemy.

The news is somewaht accurate. Aba Paulos has been stripped of all his power except to give a religious service. An Ad hoc committee consisting of 7 archbishops are now in charge of the Synod. Aba Tekeste is a native of Wolkait and is believed to be a family member of of Azeb Mesfin.
There has been a persistent rumor that Meles is trying to take with him all the old guards Who know too much and who may not submit to his remote control device once he leaves office. That applies to Aba Paulos himself.
On the other hand Mahebere Kidusan the vanguard political group who selflessly worked on behalf of Aba Paulos and Meles, is now out of favor. The organization which once boasted to have 60,000 paid employees in its payroll has become too big to manage the mission it was given. This organization which has been given a special mandate see:

የተወደደዳችሁ ኢትዮጵያውያን! በእያንዳንዱ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሀዶ ቤተክርስቲያናት አባ ጳውሎስ ያስቀመጡዋቸው ያንድ ብሔረሰብ ማለትም የትግራይ ተወላጆች ስለመሆናቸውና በአንዳንዱም ቤተክርስቲያናት ልክ እንደ ወያኔ ወታደራዊ መዋቅር ለይምሰል ከሌላ ብሔረሰብ ርእሰ አድባር በአባ ጳውሎስ ይመደብና(የቤተክርስቲያን አለቃ)ከበታች ግን ማለትም ከትግራይ ብሔረሰብ ቄስ ወይም ዲያቆን በቀጥታ ከአባ ጳውሎስ ጋር የሚገናኝ ራሳቸው አባ ጳውሎስ ይመድባሉ:: ዲያቆኑ ወይም ቄሱ(ትግራይ) ለቤተክርስቲያኑ አለቃ በምንም አይነት አይተባበርምም አታዘዝም:: ይህንን በማስረጃ አቀርባለሁ::
ጂቡቲ በሚገኘው በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ የምስራቀ ጸሃይ ቅዱስ ገብርኤል ቤተክርስቲያን የሰንበት ት/ቤት ተማሪ በሆንኩበት እንደ ኢትዮጵያ አቆጣጠር ከ1986-1988 አባመላከምህረት ገ/ኢየሱስ(የጉራጌ ብሔረሰብ ተወላጅ) የቤተክርስቲያኑ ርእሰ አድባር አለቃ ሆነው ሳለ በአባ ጳውሎስ ተሹሞ የመጣው ዲያቆን ኤፍሬም(የትግራይ ተወላጅና የወያኔ አባል) በግልጽ ምእመናን እየሰሙ እኔ ያልኩት እንጂ እርስዎ የሚሉትን አልቀበልም በማለትና ከዚያም ለአባ ጳውሎስ በመንገር ከቦታው አስነስቶዋቸዋል:: ከአባ ጳውሎስ ጋር ቀጥታ ግንኙነት እንዳለውራሱ የሚናገርና ቤተክርቲያኑን ሲያምስ ሁላችንም አገልግሎትን ለማግኘት አላስቻለንም:: ምክንያቱም ብሔረተኝነት ወይም ዘረኝነት በበተክርስቲያንም ጭምር ስላለና ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብም የአደባባይ ምስጢር ነው:: በዚህ ርእሰ ጉዳይም ወያኔዎችና የትግራይ ብሔረስብ አባላት: ኢትዮጵያዊ ነኝ ከመላው ኢትዮጵያዊ ወገኔ ጋር በዜግነት በሃይማኖትና በማንኛውም ጉዳይ ተከባብሬ አክብሬ እኖራለሁ የወያኔዎችን የዘረኝነት ግፍ አገዛዝ አውግዤ በእኩልነት እኖራለሁ የምትሉበት አስቸኳይና አስተዋይ መልስ መላው የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ጥያቄ ነውና ያስቡበት:: ግንቦት7 የፍትህ የነጻነትና የዲሞክራሲ ንቅናቄ ዘረኝነትን በአጽንኦት ያወግዛል እስከመጨረሻው የድል ፍጻሜ በየትኛውም ቦታ ይታገላል: ኢትዮጵያውያን የግንቦት 7 ሁሉን አቀፍ የትግል ንቅናቄን እየተቀላቀሉ ነውና ጥሪውን ያስተውሉ:: ዘረኛውን ወያኔ ከተከተሉ ኢትዮጵያዊነትዎ አጠያያቂ ነው:: በተክርስቲያናችንም ዘረኝነትን በትምህርተ ወንጌል ከጥንት ጀምሮ አጥብቃ ትቃወማለች ታወግዛለች:

በጣም የሚያሳዝን ዜና ነው የምንሰማው። የዘመኑ መጨረሻ ሲደርስ ብዙ አሳዛኝ ነገሮችን እንደምንሰማ ጌታችንና መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በማያልፈው ቃሉ አስተምሮናል። የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 10 እና የማርቆስ ወንጌል 13

በቁጥር ትንሽ ያይደሉ ብዙዎች፤ በሥጋ ሞተው በነፍሳቸው ለነፍሳቸው ቤዛ ለሆነው ለጌታችንና ለመድኃኒታችን ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እንደ መኖር ፈንታ ለግዝፈተ ሥጋ የሚጨነቁ አድር ባዮች ደጋፊነት፤ እንዲሁም በጌታችንና በመድኃኒታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በኩል በደም ዋጋ የተገኘውንና የተሰጣቸውን ዘላለማዊ ክርስቲያናዊ ዜግነትን ዋጋ ሳይሰጡ ግን ዲያብሎስ በምቀኝነት የዘላለም ህይወት እንዳይኖረንና እግዚአብሔርን እንድናሳዝንበት የዘራብን የዘረኝነት በሽታ ተጠቂዎች በሆኑ ዘረኞች ደጋፊዎች ታጅበው ለዘመናት ተከብራ የኖረችውን ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ለማዋረድ ሁሉም የበኩላቸውን አስተዋጽኦ አደረጉ።
ምስጊኑም ህዝበ ክርስቲያን ከፊሉ እውነትን ይዞ፤ ከፊሉ የሚያደርገው መላ ጠፍቶት፤ ከፊሉ ግራ ተጋብቶ፤ ከፊሉም እየሆነ ያለውን ሳይረዳ እንዲሁ በተዘበራረቀ መልኩ የተለያየ ሃሳቦችን ስንሰጥ ስንሟገት እንገኛለን።
አስቀድሞ በእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ መሪነት፤ በቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ ሰብሳቢነት የተጀመረውና አሁንም በመንፈስ ቅዱስ መሪነት እዚህ የደረሰው ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ ሰይጣን እንደሰለጠነባት እንደዚህች ዓለም የሚመራ አይደለም። ስለሆነም ዛሬ የዓለም መሪዎች ሳይስማሙ ሲቀሩና ሲጣሉ እንደሚያደርጉት መፈንቅለ መንግሥት ዓይነት በመፈንቅለ ፓትርያርክ የምትመራ አይደለችም። ታዲያ ዛሬ በቅድስት አገር የሚታየው፥ ዓለም እንኳን እንደማያዋጣ አውቆት የተወውንና ሰላም አጥተው ባልታደሉት በጥቂት አፍሪካ አገሮች ሲታይም ዓለም የሚስቅበትን አይነት መፈንቅለ ፓትርያርክ ተደርጎባት እየታመሰች ትገኛለች።
ማስተማር አይሁንብኝና መድሃኒታችንና ህይወታችን፣ የህይወታችን ቤዛ የሆነው ጌታችንና መድሃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የመንፈስ ቅዱስን ሥራ ለማያምኑትና ለመቀበል ለሚሳናቸው አስቀድሞ እንዲህ ሲል አስተምሯል፥
«እኔም አብን እለምናለሁ ለዘላለምም ከእናንተ ጋር እንዲኖር ሌላ አጽናኝ ይሰጣችኋል፤ እርሱም ዓለም የማያየውና የማያውቀው ስለ ሆነ ሊቀበለው የማይቻለው የእውነት መንፈስ ነው፤ ነገር ግን ከእናንተ ዘንድ ስለሚኖር በውሥጣችሁም ስለሚሆን እናንተ ታውቃላችሁ። ወላጆች እንደ ሌላቸው ልጆች አልተዋችሁም፤ ወደ እናንተ እመጣለሁ። ገና ጥቂት ዘመን አለ ከዚህም በኋላ ዓለም አያየኝም፤ እናንተ ግን ታዩኛላችሁ፤ እኔ ሕያው ነኝና እናንተ ደግሞ ሕያዋን ትሆናላችሁ። እኔ በአባቴ እንዳለሁ እናንተም በእኔ እንዳላችሁ እኔም በእናንተ እንዳለሁ በዚያን ቀን ታውቃላችሁ። ትእዛዜ በእርሱ ዘንድ ያለችው የሚጠብቃትም የሚወደኝ እርሱ ነው፤ የሚወደኝንም አባቴ ይወደዋል እኔም እወደዋለሁ ራሴንም እገልጥለታለሁ።» የዮሐንስ ወንጌል 14፥ 13-21
እኔ ግን ለምስጊኑ ህዝበ ክርስቲያን ወገኔ፥ እውነትን ለያዘው፣ የሚያደርገው መላ ለጠፋው፣ ግራ ለተጋባው፣ እየሆነ ያለውን ላልተረዳውና በጥቅሉ እንዲሁ በተዘበራረቀ መልኩ የተለያየ ሃሳቦችን ለምንሰጠውና ለምንሟገተው ከሃሰተኞች እንድንጠበቅና ትክክለኛውን መንገድ እንድንከተል ብሎም ስለ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ከመቼውም ጊዜ የበለጠ አጥብቀን እንድንጸልይ ከብርሃነ ዓለም ከቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ምክሮች አንዱን በማካፈል አስተያየቴን ላሁኑ እፈጽማለሁ፤
«የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል የተናገሩአችሁን ዋኖቻችሁን አስቡ፥ የኑሮአቸውንም ፍሬ እየተመለከታችሁ በእምነታቸው ምሰሉአቸው። ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ትናንትና ዛሬ እስከ ለዘላለምም ያው ነው። ልዩ ልዩ ዓይነት በሆነ በእንግዳ ትምህርት አትወሰዱ፤ ልባችሁ በጸጋ ቢጸና መልካም ነው እንጂ በመብል አይደለም፤ በዚህ የሚሠሩባት አልተጠቀሙምና። መሠዊያ አለን፥ ከእርሱም ሊበሉ ድንኳኒቱን የሚያገለግሉ መብት የላቸውም።» ወደ ዕብራውያን 13፥7-10
ታዲያ የአምልኮ መልክ ይዘው ኃይሉን ግን የካዱ በመሰዊያው ስር ተቀምጠው ስለዚህች አለም ብልጽግና የሚደክሙና በእግዚአብሔር ስም ክፉን የሚያደርጉ በዓለም መጨረሻ ለእነርሱ ከተጠበቀላቸው ፍርድ እንዲድኑ ማን ባሳያቸው።
