UDJ held First Town Hall Meeting in Addis Ababa

EMF (8 December 2008)  UDJ held its First Town Hall Meeting in Addis Ababa on Saturday. The meeting was held at the EELPA Hall which has a capacity of 3,500 poople. Sources said close to 5,000 people have appeared to attended the meeting.

Many people had to stay outside, but they are able to attend the meeting with the help of a powerful sound system. Wzrt. Birtukan Midekissa, Eng. Gizachew Shiferaw, Dr. Hailu Araya, Ato Temesgen Zewde were among the speakers.

Dr. Negaso Gidada, Dr. Beyene Petros, Ato Siye Abraha were among the guests who made short speeches.

The people of Addis Ababa were very actively participated in the meeting. They asked all kind of questions and gave several suggestions to the newly formed party. According to EMF sourcs the meeting was successful. In related news, UDJ opens 35 offices in the country and ready to run for the 2010 election.
