Two Artists Abducted and Under Severe Torture, OLF

OLF News, October 6, 2009 – OLF News correspondents reported from Addis Ababa that two young Oromo rising stars, whose songs have been extremely popular among the Oromo population, male artist Haacaaluu Hundasaa and female artist Dirribee Gadaa, have been abducted by the TPLF-led Ethiopian government armed-personnel on September 15, 2009, have been reportedly taken to the notorious so called Ma’ikelawi prison and are under severe torture for allegedly “glorifying Oromo fighters through singing”.
