“This is a struggle for our survival” – TPLF says

“…We have stopped pretending democracy any more; this is a struggle for our survival.” An Interview with confidential TPLF source reveals in a research undertaken by Lovise Aalen, Associate Professor at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and Kjetil Tronvoll, Professor at the University of Oslo. According to the two scholars, Ethiopia has turned the clock back more than 15 years; the polarized and oppressive political context seen today resembles the situation in the past. Meles Zenawi told the donors to pack up and go home if they tried to play hard-ball with him.
