Somalis, ONLF, OLF and Eritreans hold “Horn of Africa Solidarity” conference

By Ahmed Abdi “Horn of Africa Solidarity Conference” is held in Frankfurt, Germany on Saturday. This conference, which is annually held was this time long-time invested and properly organized by Somali Communities from Ogaden Region in Germany.

This Conference, which was totally different from the previous ones was participated in different communities from Horn of Africa mainly Somali communities,Oromio Communities, Eritrean Communities and Somali communities from Occupied-Ogaden region. The aim of the Conference was to overthrow what they call an “illegal government” of Tigray People’s liberation front Regime of Addis Ababa. The Leaders from United Horn of Africa allies of ONLF,OLF,Somali Diaspora, plus Eritreans that participated in the conference vowed to oust out the minority regime of Tigray.”We have opened a new chapter of collaboration between us and the Horn of Africa nations that are under Ethiopian occupation and have created an umbrella that wants to overthrow the repressive regime of TPLF,”said, Hassan Moalim,an ONLF-deputy foreign secretary to Ethiopia.

Mr. Moalim spoke at length about the ONLF political developments and how importance is to ally with the nations under Ethiopian colony such as the nations of Oromia,Sidama,Afar, etc. Ethiopian Regime of TPLF continues to commit genocide against the nations under its colony including peoples in Oromia, Afar-land, Sidama, Welayta, and Somalis in Ogaden Region etc and continually intervenes Somalia domestic politics that unnerved.

These are the seeds of shabia and woyane who have the same anti-Ethiopian political view. They are in unity ideally but were marginalized by Woyane-Tigray. Their ultimate goal, even if they defeat woyane is to dismantle Ethiopia to smaller pieces of their own. The Somalies, the Afars, the Eritreans, the Oromos, the Amharas, the Gurage and all all of the tribes of Ethiopia should stand together to stabilize the region and work
together to build Ethiopia, the land of many where justice, equality, freedom, and opportunity prevails. The truth is the enemy of my enemy is not a friend any more, it is equally an enemy and we should fight this groups. further more, EMF shouldn’t be the mouth piece of the enemy.

What is going on here? ONLF, Oromo, Somalis, and Eritreans are poised to liberate Ethiopians. Thank you very much, and I do not think we do need that help. I mean at least I understand about ONLF and Oromos they are Ethiopians though they claim not to be. Why are the Somalis and Eritrean more concerned about Ethiopia when Somalia is living in chaos for more than two decades. And the Eritreans dream of being the “Singapore” of Africa turned out to be a myth. Is not wise for the Somalis and Eritreans to be concerned about their own countries? Always it is hard to figure out how the political mind of Eritreans function really. Because the doctrine EPLF propagated for years have nothing to do with reality they remain confused for some time is a given. But to remain confused for this long is really upsetting. The good news is Eritreans who live in the dream they have created are not the one who devise the future politics of Eritrea. They are the soon dying crowd. The new generation Eritreans for their own bewefit do not seem to buy the myth. The recent exodus of the new generation to anywhere attest to the fact. As for the Somalis they might wish their religion dogma spread out in Ethiopia. That is a wishful thinking that will have a hard time to materialize in Ethiopia.
