Ethiopian Spice Girls project in line for £16m MORE of our foreign aid despite warning that it may be a waste of money

  • However, watchdog warns there is little evidence it is having an impact

The Department of International Development (Dfid) is poised to announce funding for a ‘second phase’ of the £54million Girl Hub project, which is designed to ‘empower’ girls in Africa.

But the Independent Commission on Aid Impact watchdog today warns ministers to halt the latest £16million payment unless project managers can show it is working.

    That amount is nothing. It’s only a fraction of revenue UK Gov obtained from the sale of album ‘Lucy in the Sky’. Ethiopians should ask for more as they have no shame or dignity.

    what the donors themselves are remaining being empowered their own girls some have century ago? just creation of lesbian movement, nothing else.

    what the donors themselves are remaining being empowered their own girls some half century ago? the final out put just creation of lesbian movement, nothing else. now they are paying the price by dealing with such perverted generation which they can not pull it back to its origional circumstance by any means. so, it is not practically advisable to pick up the spoon simply they are generously offered you. perhaps the interest rate might be un affordable.
