Chaos with in the army

The turmoil and chaos within Zenawi’s army is extremely threatening as the regime is in a business of ethnic cleansing within the army.

“The situation is very tense mainly among the high ranking stuffs of the army”, our source said. “It is making the regime more panicky and take desperate actions.”

According to the source, the TPLF leadership has recently decided to avoid the existing handful of non-Tigrean officials from high post in the army. Most Ethnic Oromos of high ranking army officials have been cracked after the May 2005 elections for airing their grievances.

The Amharas are targeted this time, who are suspected of threats to the system.

The removal of suspects with in the army is very systematic. Some suspects were set to non-active (to stay at home) with full salary paid. Other army officers were told to study at university regardless of their low educational background. The rest are labeled as members of the ‘illegal’ Ginbot 7 movements.

The later are being arrested for coup plot.
