The deportation is a rude act of thugs; it is an atrocious insult to the civility of the Ethiopian people tarnishing the image of the EOTC Synode in Addis Ababa for the last 20 years.

CORRECTION:The deportation is a rude act of thugs; it is an atrocious insult to the civility of the Ethiopian people; it is further proof that few pro-TPLF Archbishops within Holy Synod in Addis Ababa were bent on tarnishing the image of the EOTC for the last 20 years.

L.K Haile-selassie is one of the respected priests in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. As we saw, he comes to be a good paradigm for our Archbishops and Bishops who are wishing to run patriarchate election. Normally, Ato Sibhat Nega’s interview gave indications that Ethiopian government is directly and indirectly involving in the Ethiopian Orthodox church. I personally believe, it is time our Bishops to resolve the issues in our church for which we all need to support the arbitrators’ (shimaglewech) stand point in order to fix this paramount issue. Otherwise we pay a bitter price in the near future. Believe me our bishops also will face immoral responses from inside and outside and bear the barriers on their shoulder. Let us stand together and scream together before things go worst. See what happened in Waldba, Ziquala, Asebot and Mahbere-slassie. Let us tell our bishops to listen to their people rather than government agents.

It is serious issue. It will create long standing problem. I am sure you all understand what I am trying to say.
